i compare my torchlight in proton toolbag with my lancer friend's torchlight...it's same! only ours have proton logo craved on it
*
Proton are owned by Syed Mokthar while Mitsubishi owned by DRB-Hicom.
Car torchlight only done by few factories, so "same" are normal whistling.gif
Already heard some rumors that buying P1/2 and < 1800cc will be getting rm500 of fuel subsidies, if 1.8M Inspira getting will be great.

1.8M owner here, always maintain 90-110km/h, worst 13.5km/l, best 14.1km/l.
It depends greatly on how you control your leg.

Damm good mileage you have .
I only get 11.4~11.7 KM/ L .

11.4km/l if i use PETRONAS Syntium 800 from SC. If use that Castrol Edge 5w-40 FS oil, i get around 11.7~12 km/l. I don't rempit though. No hard acceleration. 1.8MT

Tried RON97 full tank once, macam placebo effect only.

Should pump RON95 one time and say is RON97, see what lala driver say.

If say feel smoother/faster/better FC, confirm placebo effect only
*
If you are maintaining speed at > 150km/h, then yes, RON97 will be good.
For a slow uncle like me, RON95 are more than enough.
Why we have the "effect" of using RON97 yields better millage? Is because the fuel bloody expensive and we tend to control our stupid right feet.

hahaha true true... me also uncle driving, when the time RON95 raise up to 20 cent then pump 1 full tank already need pay extra Rm1x+, for poor ppl like me mana boleh afford to pay another 20 cent difference for RON97, haiz.. driving 80km/h only ma, pump RON91 also can la
*
Nope, if you want to use RON91, valve timing needs to be changed. If more on the valve timing that matters. As we don't want it to knock at the wrong place.

The stock map shouldbe able to take Ron88
*
Yeah, give a try on it, you may add about 30% of naptha to the petrol to get that value.
Then see any problem with it or not.
Countries that offering lower RON of this usually requires higher MON for the petrol. Our petrol now is having high RON but low MON.
In actual, MON plays more important role than RON.
RON is tested under 800 rpm while MON at higher rpm.

infact the stock map is all same across asia region .. mind u indonesia is running ron88

there is a high octane timing and a low octane timing within the map.

the knock sensor will detect knock greater than 6 times will retard the timing by 1 degree until no knock is detected.. (min is the low octane map zone).
*
As said, I don't give a damn on RON, MON is what I want to know.
And Malaysian petrol's MON are very low, not even reaching the minimum requirement sometimes. That's why they use AKI to mislead people.

Well, for a bunch of loser that thinking doing a group bashing in cyber world will make they think are more superior, dealing with such losers I'll pass.
As in reality a fact is still fact.
If 1 wants to die die say MON does not have effect to engine, then suit them, I just point out the common misunderstand.

Any petro lab in Malaysia do test this.
Just join a surveying company to know how the test are being carried out.
