Hi guys, for 2.0 CVT guys out there. just something good to share on my recent discovery.

cvt whining sound that you hear (high pitch) when you rev constantly up to 5k-6k rpm can be highly reduced by changing this CVT cooler filter and put in diaqueen CVT oil J1 or J4.

this filter is under the battery and getting there takes 2-3 hours including changing cvt oil.

proton service center charge RM 60 for workmanship. this filter + gasket cost around RM 120

by the way, proton repack their CVT oil into their label and the colour dont look like diaqueen oil...i bought my own diaqueen J1 from sleed's R&D parts store (FB page)

my current mileage 38k.

try them to believe it. for all the god out there driving 1.8M, good for you la, dont need to go through our pain....

Mine are worst, sometimes I never noticed the engine started

well my air cond blower is indeed louder than engine idling since i set it a bit higher.
if anything, compressor magnetic clutch sound also louder than engine sound lol

i also fairly surprised since my EO viscosity damn thin

It does not matter Ralliart, 2wd or 4wd lancer..
What is required for HSA is the ASC and the g sensor.
The newer generation g sensor can tell the asc if the car is on a slope.. So it can hold the brakes. As soon as u start to press the accelerator, the ecu will tell the asc i want to move, then it will release.

In Malaysia..
Lancer sportback 2.4 (later version) comes with HSA, already pupus
Asx 4wd comes with it because it has ASC
Asx 2wd ckd only comes with ABS .. No g sensor so no HSA.

And no, not all Ralliart comes with HSA, only the newer generation of the ASC have it. If not mistaken vehicle after 2012.

Hi guys, looking to buy the Proton INspira 1.8 (M). Just concerned that from some of the reviews, the interior of the 1.8(M) is considered inferior compared to 2.0 (E). An example is the car seat. 1.8(M) is fabric whilst 2,0 (E) is leather. No big deal here since i can upgrade from fabric covered seat to leather. But then, how about the seat (without the cover)? Are the seat itself (without the cover) the same between 1,8(M) vs. 2,0(E)?
Besides the seat, i am being told some of the interior parts for 1.8(M) is of inferior quality to 2.0 (E). THings like the plastic knob used for air con and stuff like that?

Besides, given that the current inspira models are considered 60% local content and 40% foreign content, how are things looking up for the INspira purchased in 2015 next year? Also, how is the assembly quality? Good or mediocre or so - so?
I heard that each of the INspira rolling out from Proton's line is quality certified to Mitsubishi standard.

Btw.. Proton did a real good job on 2.0E... They manage to make leather look exactly same as fabric.. Even touching on it u wont feel it is like leather .. Kudossss proton.. (this is for the claim by ur fren or whom so ever whom said 2.0E comes with leather seats)
