means those additives he used actually cleaned the filter? i would be under the impression that it should make the filter dirtier since the dirt around the tank or something would be cleaned up and get trapped on the filter.

or it's just 60k km being a little too early for filter replacement? or maybe the fuel quality down south is cleaner?

Thank you all for the input. Look like this car is not my cup of tea. I drive Hyundai and Myvi now. FC wise definitely myvi better but stability and comfort is Hyundai better.  I just sold off my Hyundai Accent 10 yrs for 5k only.
For my case I would keep the car as long as possible and prefer less problem. I don't like heavy gadget car since it would last long and later will give hiccup here and there.
My usage just commute to work and sometimes back to Ipoh. Just a family man which drive follow speed limit. No more fast and furious. Perhap, may consider vios or city since they are giving year end offer. Thanks.
