I think the pink issue spots has been there since the start of the Z's . I'm pretty certain that it can be fixed by a camera software update but Sony at the moment are too into the 6 months cycle release that they are concentrating on the release of the next Z rather than concentrating on user feedback's on improving the flagships that they currently have.
Iphone's & Samsung's all run on Sony sensors but they have much better camera softwares running compared to Sony's. For a company whose bread and butter was from electrical and imaging devices, the lack of apparent ability in taking the time and effort to improve the current issue's brought up on their flagship Z is alarming. Well who knows 6 months down the road after Z4 is launched, they finally decide to stop sitting on their ass & do something about the camera software? I'm not a guy that takes alot of pics or likes to nitpick on how my photos looks so im pretty much okay with the pink spot issue as its something that im well used to on Sony phones That's the only gripe i have with their mobiles really. Build quality, Hardware , Battery life are all world class except their image processing on THEIR phones which is THEIR FORTE. This post has been edited by triple02: Oct 28 2014, 02:43 PM |

QUOTE(0cto9i @ Oct 30 2014, 02:39 PM) actually the differences between the smoke and clear is only the side rubber; do u think the casing will scratch easily? also can you use magnetic dock without having to remove the casing?the back would be still transparent clear - hard plastic. QUOTE(0cto9i @ Oct 30 2014, 03:48 PM) i'm not quite sure tho, i just got mine like hours ago. Thanks mate! Usually these clear type casing are so prone to scratches. Ive used quite a few and majority of them are full of scratches after a week! to me the surface texture is more or less like the casemate barely there case i got last month, so far only few tiny scratches on the cm barely there case but they "ringke fusion claimed, » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « link here i'm not sure whether it fit on the charging dock or not as i'm currently outside, will have to come back to you. I did see the advertising by Ringke hence why i wanted to ask you Yeah please do check on the magnetic charging support, i use it to charge mine and resort to removing the casing all the time, Its a dealbreaker for me. appreciate it if you can try and get back! |

I came from the Z1, 1 thing i noticed is the Camera lag on the Z3, its pretty noticeable only if you previously owned a Z1 or Z2. Doesnt really bother me just something that ive been noticing,
Been comparing certain things from Z1 with the Z3, there are differences in the responsiveness between boths interface wise, Z3's overall OS itself just feels a tad rushed. Is this something related to the 4.4.4 KitKat entirely im not certain, though i do know this, there was some initial teething issues on the initial release of KitKat on the Z1's Lets see if Android L makes any difference. Been using it for a week. It's a really good phone not the perfect has its issue's but overall its been great. especially the battery life. I can average around 7H SOT without Stamina Mode turned on. QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Nov 3 2014, 09:24 AM) no idea about the viewfinder but could something to do with the ISO. My camera settings is always on Auto, should i change it to manual? about battery, how long were you on battery? My average is around 1D 15Hrs and my SOT time is around 7 plus hours the longest i went was 1D 23H with SOT of 8 hours. I took a screenshot let me see if i can upload it here.. QUOTE(silencer5089 @ Nov 3 2014, 09:32 AM) Yes the notification sound is really soft compared to Z1/Z2. This post has been edited by triple02: Nov 3 2014, 09:52 AM |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Nov 3 2014, 10:06 AM) no differences between manual and auto. so i guess the viewfinder is not as good as Z2 and previous series. Mine's exactly on the same settings as yours. Mostly on Wifi. Occasional calls, Whatsapp, Instagram, Twitter and websurfing.but regarding battery, how did you do achieve that? I never played any games on it. Infact i dont even have any games installed. Any recommendations? |

QUOTE(zorbyss. @ Nov 4 2014, 01:40 AM) Hello guys, just came across a thread in XDA and realise there's quite some cases of "self-cracking" Xperia. Those phones seems to crack by itself without any excessive force applied. Just wondering if any of you guys experienced it? Was about to pull the trigger but now it seems like a dealbreaker for me. I saw that probably those guys inadvertently dropped it or put it the pocket and hit it against some edge or something. So far i dont have any issue's i dropped mine once on the parquet floor, I had the casing on although |
