yes. that also will be lost, unless you extract the apk from the stock rom and installed it on cm11

to summarize, all the sony preinstalled apps and features will be lost. (excluding gapps)

Does z3 has cm11 rom? If it does and i flash it, will i lose those sony features like stamina mode?
*
yes. not stable unless the sony guys build AOSP base like they did for XZ. no sony features btw.

not as simple as apk extracting & installing. apk odex/deodex/signature and more to take care of. most of all, it wont work. it needs sony framework & lot of dependencies.

what is spider web effect?

I am using it. the fitting is too fit in my opinion. if they made it 1mm smaller it would be better.

yes, i know, its not a simple extract and install. just for the sake to ease the discussion, i dont go into the details on what needs to be done using a specific rom app to another rom. smile.gif

hence, easier route, wait until someone in xda make a stable and tested apk out of it, then install laugh.gif

does anyone know if Z3 has the same heating problems like Z2?
Z2 shuts down the camera by itself to cool down, hope Sony corrected this problem in Z3
*
So has anyone heard about a similar problem?

im not an expert but most probably it may effect like damages caused by electrostatic. the battery might hv overcurrent protection but not sure bout other parts.

I'm curious to know if there's any reported damages due to water for these waterproof series and if sony will honor the warranty for such.

If so, it'd really give buyers comfort not to worry about 'drowning' thumbup.gif

But then again, how about damage to our simcard and sd card ? sweat.gif

NO such warranty for damage related to water............ so prepare to pay HUGE amount of money to fix if got damage .... plus sony rapair service got quite bad reputation so plz dont ask for trouble by testing warranty.... saved u all some trouble hv fun!

first of all, make sure all flaps are properly closed (common sense).
then always remember the pressure limit. max up to 1.5 metres deep for not longer than 30mins.

simcard & sdcard are mostly waterproof. i washed my simcard & msd coated with melted chocolate. no harm.
