Hi just joining this big family, as i was getting mine opo from dialog hub few days ago. thumbup.gif

So far i am satisfied with it, and the battery life is quite impressive. Another thing i like about opo is doubletap to wake, it saved me from the hassle and worry about the wear and tear of power button. Since this feature is implement in the hardware level (kernel, touchscreen firmware, etc), it barely consume any extra power compared to other ordinary solution which prevent the device from entering into deep sleep state.

Besides that, the sandstone black backcover of opo feel nice and look unique. And it's usb cable and packaging look special? tongue.gif

Overall, i can say this is a worth upgrade for me as i am using n7000 previously. And opo definitely is one of the best bang of buck in year 2014. smile.gif

dt2w/s2w is implemented in software level (kernel) and consume way more battery than the traditional power button wake as it needs to keep the screen "awake" to register touches. smile.gif

hm just curious bcause saw some ppl cm developer entropy512? mention about it is implement by the touchscreen controller firmware and it need to support by the hardware. hmm.gif

off course when it come to power usage, awake the device by power button is still the way to go. it just the durability of power button make me avoid it lol. sweat.gif

Yup, it needs to be supported by hardware but implementation part (touch screen firmware) is kernel side.
But from what I know, the device(1+1) still goes to deep sleep, just that using wake controls have negative impact on battery compare to power button smile.gif
Yeah, durability is another matter. Well, if don't use it (like during night/sleep) or want to save some juice, just disable it from the settings, and enable them when actively using the device. laugh.gif

ya if not using the phone for a long time, better disable it to save some juice. smile.gif

btw, did voice command / voice wake "hey snapdragon" works in opo?

Can never go wrong, it's more worth than getting Mi I think. CM is one of the reason too.

Yup official cm support is also one of the reason that attracting me in getting this phone. thumbup.gif
