I never had touch sensitivity problem but got a little yellow at bottom of the screen.

I've seen people fix the touch sensitivity issue by flashing Franco, give it a try.

I thought the yellow tint issue will slowly go away with use? I'm thinking of jumping ship from my current Nexus 5 as well but with a possible new Nexus device to be announced, perhaps will have to wait a while more.

Well, nexus 5 is still a good phone, it is infact almost perfect. Thats why not much place to find fault other than the battery and camera which was the most obvious place which needed improvement. :)

Not to say the battery is very bad, it is just average , able to last me 1 full day of use.But if you want to be strict,yes, it is below average compare to today's newest standard of android. Can't say how it compares with the newest iphone yet.

The reason I think highly of my phone might be because nexus 5 is the smoothest android when I got it during it's launch last year. KitKat is really a good improvement compare to jelly beam.  :nod:
