Think bro,
By the time that new processors and motherboard released, this current gen processors will become obsolete and price will reduce..

Anyways, if u have no choice and cant wait, then just carry on la, ur current spec is good enough unless other members has something better to offer

Haswell-E is not for mainstream, it's high end. The cheapest motherboard alone already at least RM800 and I don't expect DDR4 to come cheap.

The price for mainstream parts won't change.

You can get better spec, and better aesthetics on custom rig for the same price comparing with Alienware. Alienware is overpriced crap.

I would suggest going with i7-4790K if you are playing BF4 large multiplayer maps. There are also a few games that demands more CPU power.

Did you know staff price doesn't count? You gotta know people to get cheaper price. And you did not say Dell factory offer on your earlier post.

Anyway, let's see if you can get this for cheaper price on the offer.

Core i7-4790K - RM1039
Coolermaster TPC-812 heatsink - RM159
Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 3 - RM509
Kingston 8GB DDR3-1600 x1 - RM249
Sapphire R9 280X 3GB DDR5 Vapor-X or Leadtek GTX770 2GB DDR5 - RM1099/1249
Intel 520 120GB SSD - RM264

WD Blue 1TB hard disk - RM174
DVD writer of your choice - RM59
Coolermaster VSM 750 power supply - RM409
Corsair Carbide 400R case - RM329
Windows 8.1 x64 OEM - RM309

RM4599/4749 total

For under RM300 , it's one of the better psu you can get at that price. I can vouch for it as my friend is using the model and his experience of using it is excellent , super quiet under load, it's non modular but he preferred it that way tongue.gif . Overall its a good psu. Plus the built quality from Seasonic is always excellent thumbup.gif

LOL...you want 120 FPS and expect a single GTX 780 to churn that out for you? sweat.gif Try your luck on 2x GTX 780 Ti, even so it might not be able to consistently giving you that much frame rate also.

LOL tongue.gif I was thinking if partnering with the new ROG Swift monitor w/ G-Sync and dreaming it could possible happen.. doh.gif

Best choice for now is just stick with normal 2560x1440 monitor if single gtx 780 card..

Water cooling maintenance about every 6 months downtime can be a day? Depends if you do it yourself
If you get a shop to do it for you then depends on their schedule?

Go for maintenance free water cooler then. Thermaltake Water 3.0 Pro or more expensive ones.

TPC-812 original price is around RM269 I think. Noctua NH-D14 is still better than TPC-812.

Go for maintenance free water cooler then. Thermaltake Water 3.0 Pro or more expensive ones.

TPC-812 original price is around RM269 I think. Noctua NH-D14 is still better than TPC-812.

Thanks so much for your suggestion. I have a question, do liquid cooling is necessary for overclocking CPU? or any other cooler that suitable for overcloking CPU?
