I also got call from this number asking to approve transaction RM 3800 from ambank.....i dont have any cards with ambank....later i call Ambank they said that number is not AMBANK call center number...there is a scam lately using this number that will ask you to give your details over the phone....

Me too, just got the call.
I thought is Maybank then I press 5 to repeat again then i heard is ambank.
Then automatically disconnect afterward.

I too just got a call from that number, sounded like a recorded message with a heavy Chinese accent. Asking to approve transaction of RM3800++. I pressed 9 to speak with operator, was dialing but no one answered the call. scary shiet.

Thia is scary. If it's indeed a scam, that means the caller ID number has been/can be faked?
