I've never really wanted a Samsung before.. but the Note Edge is damn nice.
Love the extra small screen on the side. Looks futuristic and more innovative.

My AP set Note 3 come from HK. May be it only happen on specific model, not all like tat. I dunno, since u bought AP set number of times but no such issue, may be u r good luck enuf. 

i've heard some of my friends note 3 phone Motherboard problem, which cost RM800 if they got no more waranty, my note 2 phone after 1 year of excellent had the same problem,

is it will happen to this note 4.. i hope samsung upgrade..

Exynos is such a turn off... Do not know why... But the idea of touchwiz or samsung will lag still planted in my mind!
If snapdragon.. My mind would think it is the same with other phone...

Samsung made proc kinda worries me... Friends around me are mostly samsung users, 2 s3 and 1 note 2 has changed thier dead mobo. That doesnt sounds good..
It may be unfair to compare as my friends cases could be special isolated case but it definitely drop my confident in samsung made hardware... If only they just assemble and source in snapdragon then comparable to other flagships in my point of view..

Yes absolutely agree, custom ROMs are not entirely necessary anymore. There's almost always an app for whatever you want to do.

1gadget + DirectD brings in HK units , so its exynos . Search for Worth IT from kota damansara , brings in Sg unit

HK units are running exynos ..... Sg is SD

No idea for samsung bro , never actually own a HK units but for LG , ya , it sucks . Even with same model number , the firmware cant be change with international and for LG , most of the time , the root kit will fail also if it's a HK unit .z

Guys. I'm having an iphon 5 now but intend to switch over to note 4. But the note 4 will be bought by my gf from hong kong. I saw someone said that hong kong set will have problem in the future when i update the firmware or apps. Is is true? How to overcome that?

I was actually thinking to try do all the modding or flashing as mentioned in this thread. Honestly, iphone didnt let me do any of that. So it's new to me and i wanna try play around with android. So what u mean is before i do any of that i should check whether it is meant for HK set or not? But update the os shouldnt be a problem right?
