You guys are really looking for this phone huh? Why is it? Also, is it just me or Note 3 Threads used to have a lot of threads than Note 4?
If I not remembering it wrong, Note 3 thread has more than 1 version before the releases.. |

I just browsed the iphone thread, and they were patting each other back because they believed that hardware specs is meaningless as long as the machine is well-optimized and run fine.
So, is Note 4 powerful spec is just for decoration? |

QUOTE(joytest @ Oct 12 2014, 03:50 PM) Well....that other platform is a monopolistic walled garden with arbitrary controls and tight curation. In that sense, specs can be LOWER and still provide a smooth experience. Thanks for clearing this up for me...but what am I supposed to do with the raw powers of the Note 4? Playing HD game? However in terms of raw power, specs matter and what you intend to do with it. I believe a relevant illustration is the RX8 rotary engine which is 1300cc displacement yet still handles sportily. However, all other engines are now 4 to 8 cylinder standard designs with power easily measured in increasing displacement. So....comparing fapple with Android is actually apples and oranges. They can play in their anally curated sandbox all they want. As to the specs question again, you have a 3000cc V8 engine in the Note4. What you do with it is up to you. |

QUOTE you seem like a person who wants simplicity and doesnt utilise the powerhouse which is called the note 4... my honest opinion, i would suggest u to go for 6+ which is simple and smooth os, but WITHOUT ALL THE multitasking features the note 4 has Well, I am using Note 3 at this moment. I am just curious what should I do with the raw power that provided by Note series. |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Oct 12 2014, 06:24 PM) iFans is like that one. I actually experienced the similar story with you.Same as my iFriend, he never accept big phone as complain cannot one hand handle. But... do you know what he said now, he no longer need one hand handle, iPhone 6 Plus is the best as it is big enough. You get wow experience on it. Last time he complain like hell in all big phone and said Apple did the right out small phone. Now he eat his own word. That is iFans. I bought Note 3 last year, and my iFriend was in shock when he saw me using Note 3. His question was like "Do you enjoy holding brick in your hand? This thing is GIGANTIC...." Then I was like " How is this a problem? I am holding it with no difficulty." His second statement was like "For me, current iphone size is the best. You can use one hand to operate this". I was " O really?" then I show him the one-hand operation feature with note 3. "I can do that too". Then his final statement was like "....Ok." Now, here is the funny part. Last month, he told me he is getting iPhone 6+. Obviously, I am trying to take a jab on him " Do you like holding a brick with your hand?" His answer surprisingly shocked me " Umm..well, it has bigger screen, good for gaming". I was like ".....OK". |
