antutu seems to be good... perhaps that benchmark not optimize for note4 yet

its true that real life usage is more important... but benchmark do tell part of the story...now we're be lying we're aren't sad if the antutu score was lower then note3 right

maybe due to metal expand and contract. the glass is not fused with the metal part.

Just went to check back at Note 3 for fun, the display is already beyond my eyes to pick out individual pixels,
wonder if I would be able to tell them apart in a blind test when the 4 is avail. 

The metal ring around the Alpha looks really good, it's probably what drew me to the 4.
Saw my Sister's Note 3, the paint were starting to peel off some.

the only downside i think will suffice is when we put movies into the phone.
there will be pixelation when we play  720p on a qhd screen.
imagine watching an old 240p youtube video on the screen.
your eyes will go like this 
we can't say it will be that good.
an increase of only 20mAh+ a qhd screen.

Wonder if you mind thicker phones? This time round I'm buying Samsung cos no more phones for me w/o SD card slot and removable battery cover.

We can quite easily get 3rd party extended batteries e.g. 4xxxmah generic brands, Anker's 6400mah to the most
extreme Zero Lemon's 10,000mah ones if you don't mind a thicker & heavier phone.

The battery life is insane, back to the feature phone's era, maybe more.

On page 5 one of the poster noted that the OP shot alot of 4K videos on the Note 4 and will test again. 
Too thick does make it look weird when all phones are so thin these days, the new battery does look to have a larger
surface area so it might not be as thick this time round, can't escape the weight tho. 

for me being connected all the time is also one of reasons for smartphone usage. however not everyone has a power plug/powerbank laying around to charge up on emergency.. 3k+ battery is a large battery, howver those on long flights or drive would need all bits of battery life they can save.

Singapore is N910G which is Snapdragon 805. Not difficult to get if you prefer snapdragon. Also those directD and etc do selling import set. (Off course no Samsung warranty).

The wait is killing me

Couldnt wait and since inhouse doc gave me 2 days mc, went out to buy 1.

Will buy the local set when it comes out tho, want to have the black as well

Few things about this device.

-Somehow feels warm while doing light activities, tho the weather most likely is the culprit.

- Screen looks nice, but that said, I honestly cant tell the difference between the note 3's screen and this. 2k overhyped I guess.

- As for outdoor screen visibility, I'd give it a 9/10

- Camera's mediocre when taking indoor photos, but brilliant outdoor.

- The finger print scanner is accurate provided you do it the way Samsung wants

- 4G reception comparable with htc m8

- Smooth animations, although it might be too early to tell.

- The faux back seems nice to touch, but the metal bezels are a tad sharp.

-  Battery is still draining, but it should settle down after a few days of usage.

- Wifi will now swap in between 2.4g to 5g to provide better stability.
That said, I dont understand why put a 2k reso screen on a phone when your home page is still limited to 4 icons a row.
