Yes, very serious. Even with 30000 sales, got high number of units with gaps.

2 pcs of business card can slip inside.

Nothing to worry about . Note 3 also got this problem and if it's sme unit , they replaced it for you

LOL

it's always a bad idea to buy samsengs at launch.

high chance of defect and high price.

yes, if u complain hard enuff, they will repair yr unit. samseng does not practice 1-to-1 exchange.

wait at least 6 months or watch out for 2nd hand unit. many ppl sell notes bcos cannot get use to big screen.

if u can't wait, then just be prepared to pay more and higher risk of GapGate.

Yesterday, I picked up my new baby - a brand spanking new Galaxy Note 3 that replaced my aging Note 2. It's a great device on many fronts, as David pointed out in our extensive review, but it appears putting out solidly built products was not on Samsung's roadmap yet again.

During the several hours I spent setting up the Note 3, I started subconsciously noticing something very odd - the Home button at times looked crooked. At first, I dismissed it because it was dark around and thought I was just seeing things. Then, I noticed it was crooked again, except this time the other way around. What the...
Upon closer inspection, I have to my dismay confirmed that there's so much play in the Home button that your finger will constantly make it rotate and look crooked. This GIF, comprised of two photos I took of the Note 3, shows the seriousness of the issue. My OCD just reached level 85:

If you want to test it on your Note 3, just use your finger or fingernail and try pushing the left side of the button up and the right side down (don't stick your fingernail into the crack, just use it to gently nudge the button up and down). Then do the reverse. In comparison, the Note 2's Home button is rock solid. The Nexus 4... well, it doesn't have one, so there's yet another benefit to software buttons.
Thinking this could possibly be a one-off defect, I jumped on Google and found this thread on AndroidForums with exactly the same issue being reported by Note 3 owners from different parts of the world on different carriers. While it doesn't have hundreds of replies (yet), I do believe it points to a defect in the manufacturing process. I started a thread on XDA just now as well to figure out if users there are affected. Finally, I reached out to our Samsung rep for an official response.
Come on, Samsung, you can do better than that

Good to know, because I'm quite horrified by the horror stories people keep telling me about samsung lag. But so far my 4S, 5 and 5S still no lag... Really looking forward to the note 4!

And another thing, can we remove touchwiz? I hate the damn thing!
*
If ur coming from iOS, be prepared. Many had switch but revert to Apple.

Simply bcos u need to invest time and maybe some money to get close to the great experience of Apple products.

Samseng is a hardware company. touchwiz is known to be laggy even with powerful hardware.

Suggest u try out 2nd hand note 3 before spending 2k plus.

If u like big screen can consider redmi note.
Almost same with note 3 but half the price.

planning to buy

note 3 or note 4 any much differences ??

mind to share ??

planning to buy either 1 .

how much ?? colour available ??

Specs wise might see a bit of difference, processor, display resolution and OIS camera.

Others remain the same like shape, spen, battery life, etc.

Recommend note 3. Much cheaper.

New processor - minimal difference in real world usage. Only looks good in benchmark.

Display - on small screen size, no difference btwn full HD and 2k display.

OIS - may reduce camera shake problem but overall picture quality is very much lacking. Shld use better lens, sensor and overall software.

Hmm do you think Nexus 6 will dethrone Note 4?
*
In what way? Specs? Sales? Be more specific.

Sales

Surely note 4 is higher bcos wider availability and samseng aggressive marketing ads. Nexus devices is mainly for geeks and those who prefer Google android.
