Is the any advantages if buy early by pre-order or is it good to wait?
Planning to get the note 4 which will be my first android phone after years of blackberry and iphone 4s....
*
Always wait. All phone manufactures are more likely to have defects on their first batches

For me, I will stick to whoever can give me a decent 5.5 inch with a smaller form factor.

Right now, the note 3 with 152mm is acceptable. The height is important. Shorter phones are easier to carry. In fact, I'd buy the G3 if its not an AP unit.
*
What's wrong with AP sets?

Is warranty that important?

it seems all mode also accurate! Yes! with better power consumption! Samsung did it increase resolution doesn't means increase power consumption! Wow!

You forgot the 2k display requires more juice from the CPU/GPU

I never forgot. Read proper, is Samsung said manage to reduce juiced and display mate also mention this new 2k AMOLED display is much juice saving than market FHD LCD.
*
So i'm expecting equal power consumption as compared to the Note 3, which I am already satisfied.

Samsung mention 7% better power consumption than Note 3. smile.gif

DisplayMate mention 30% better power consumption than market FHD LCD.

Note 3 can have 8h SOT on average, WiFi usage; no gaming
7% means about 1/2 hr more smile.gif

"According to Samsung Mobile Singapore, the Galaxy Note 4 will be launched sometime in October. The Galaxy Note Edge is scheduled for release in Q4. We checked with our source and was told similar information."

Galaxy S5 and Note 4 reportedly getting Android L in late November or early December

user posted image

Historically Samsung hasn’t exactly been lighting fast with updates, and a lot of that has to do with the fact that its devices don’t just run stock Android, they run Android with TouchWiz on top. Preparing and testing a custom build like this takes extra time, or so that’s usually the given excuse.

With Android L, Google released a developer preview months ahead of the expected final release and many believed this could be the beginning of changes that could see OEMs push out updates quicker. For those curious when Samsung might roll out Android L to its 2014 flagships (Galaxy S5 and Note 4), a new report from SamMobile claims it could be coming towards the end of November or early December.

Most of the rumors suggest that the final build of Android L should debut sometime in early October, likely alongside the HTC Nexus 9, and so that makes Samsung’s supposed timeframe reasonably speedy — if it’s accurate. SamMobile says that the news comes from their “insiders” but even if this timeline is legit, delays happen and this could simply be when unlocked versions will see the update with carriers getting it much later.

Either way, we’d say there’s a good chance that at least the Note 4 and Galaxy S5 will see Android L this year, but we wouldn’t get our hopes up just yet.

Most phone have some Cons, not sure for Z3, but for Z2 have overheat problem on the Camera and force shutdown as I what I read from LYN users. Since you are using Note 2, Note 4 is a better upgrade for you. :D
*
For the Z2, 30 seconds of 4k video recording will make the camera part feel warm.

Bad news, Malaysia likely to get exynos instead of snapdragon
*
Not necessarily a bad news. Majority countries are getting the Exynos version, therefore we'd expect that there will be better dev support over the snapdragon one provided that they release the source codes for the chip.

In addition it is on a newer 20nm fabrication on the processor which is on par with the latest iPhone. This means better efficiency plus 64-bit ready.

For conservative people like me would prefer the SD805 at this moment. I guess I would live with my iPhone 6 Plus for a while even after the Note 4 had launched just to see how it works.

Add: most likely Singapore will get the SD805 version as we are on Cat 6 LTE already.

Why didn't get the 128gb ?  So good as compared to note3?
*
Budget constraints. Gotta save the extra moolahs for accessories. So I got one 128GB instead of two.

After all these years, after the iPhone 4, this iPhone 6 Plus is finally able to make me go 'woah'. I woahed at the battery life. I have been using it daily since I got it on Friday. And until now I have YET to charge it after 10 hours of SOT and I still have 30% left along with about 56 hours of standby time.

On lowest brightness, wifi usage an hour only caused a 5% drop in battery, in theory it could last 20 hours of screen time per full charge. And I thought my MacBook's 13 hour is already impressive. Meanwhile on 4G, 30% brightness outdoor usage only sips 10% of battery per hour.

Therefore, the iPhone 6 Plus is 30% better than the Note 2 and 50% better than the Note 3 in terms of battery life performance.

If loght web page then should be ok of heavy desktop page i dun lnow lah ill tried it and see when its at my place...
As you know note3 can Spotify+web page desktop mode 8 tab +downloading all at the same time no prob..
*
I know. I could stream YouTube, FB, play 24 bit songs and reply whatsapp and torrent TVB at the same time with 3 multi windows open.

But then it takes a toll on the battery where it will use 1% of battery every two minutes on average.

iPhone 6 Plus no multi windows and can't play 24 bit lossless music laaaa. I was talking about my Note 3

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Sep 21 2014, 11:20 PM)
That's why you need Note 4 for its fast charging. Who cares when charging is as fast as consuming it.
*
For someone who is constantly on the go, I need something that lasts me for at least 8 hours of heavy usage.

That's why at one point I had 4 Note 2s. Which could last me 3 days without having to go home and charge my phones.

Swap batteries/battery pack you say? I spread out the load equally among the 4 devices so that people can find me.

Strangely not on the pen though.

Samsung need to stop gimmick and make the stylus work already. That's why I stop after Note 1&2.

I beg to differ. If not because of the stylus, my parents won't be smartphone users today.
