Window 95 game colour resolution problem

Hello. We have a PC game based on "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" called "Chaos Island". I believe it was made for Windows 95 computers, because that's around the time it was released. I tried to play it on our Windows 7 computer, but it doesn't come through right. The colors are off and the resolution seems to be off. Is there any solutions?

have you tried run it in windows 95 compatibility mode?
