I've never used that leader before, and his skill doesn't look particularly simple to take advantage of. If your team is that low level, maybe put the Valkyrie as the team leader? She made life much easier for me in my early game with her extra attack which ignores enemy defense when their hp drops to 40% or below. The other three cards in your team have race-specific bonuses which aren't going to help the team as a whole seeing as one is beast, one is dragon and the last is human.
