Jobstreet got alot multimedia post. Just u need to cover very wide scope of skills & techniques to fulfill their spec. Including Website building knowledge.

Except u can find Video editor job, it's pretty rare.

You are looking at Multimedia Design or Multimedia Computing?

Multimedia Design cover: web design, video edit, graphic design, 2D and 3D animation, 2D and 3D modaling and etc...

Multimedia Computing cover more technical aspect of multimedia such as multimedia database, multimedia communication, multimedia networking, and etc..

Currently multimedia networking is very demanding in telcomm industry.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hope this might help..

I am an Engineering Electronics majoring in Multimedia. The scope is too wide. Electronics, Multimedia, Networking, Communication, System Design, Web Development etc. All these also can. sweat.gif Can say Multimedia Engineer and it's rare. No idea where to find job which is much more related to my course. Telco company may needs us, but they are more prefer Telecommunication Engineer, which is also another course.

Totally agree with Xefron, Most of the ppl outside heard multimedia straightaway relate it to web design or animation. But infact, there is also technical side of multimedia exist in Computing World.. implementation of multimedia is everywhere from telecommunication, medical, Oil & Gas, and even Logistic..

I see alot of multimedia grads working in telcomm industry..
