QUOTE(tikaram @ May 2 2015, 11:19 AM) Check the majority buyers comment of TH. Have a heart bro, tread lightly for you are treading on many good folks dream home. No doubt you feels yours is very good, and surely others feel the same way about their dream home too. Is it necessary to put down other's to feel good about yourself? Surely not. They said they buy TH bcs their pocket not deep enough. They love Jade Hill every minutes. If pocket deep enough they wont even consider TH. I think you too sour grape. Look like TH is second best after JH. |

This is Tropicana Heights thread, not Jade Hills or other development thread. Please stay on topic or take it elsewhere.

QUOTE(CAFE21 @ May 4 2015, 07:58 PM) Chun wants to experience TH in the early morning, which is not a bad idea. at 7-ish in the morning, construction hasn't started yet, and the park is partially up, there is a track. In the late evening past 6:30, construction would have stopped for the day. So I think, not so much dust to eat ler. This post has been edited by MikeTC: May 4 2015, 10:48 PM |

Oh I see. thanks cfa28
natoptkc, don't worry too much. Best you can do is pick a reputable developer, keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best. This is one of the key reasons why I picked this development for our home. I am not only buying into the whole concept, but also investing based on the reputation of Tropicana, specifically, Tropicana's desire to maintaining that good reputation (given the fact there is much more development they have to sell on this parcel). QUOTE(AlphaTrader @ May 8 2015, 05:43 PM) Anyone buying Parkfield pls put me as referral and we share the referral fee. For old projects including tropicana heights developer is giving 1.5% referral now. We can split and share the referral fee. Are you gonna panhandle for referral fees on every page AlphaTrader? just put it on your signature, it's less of an eyesore. |

Parkfield will not be many people's cup of tea; what with restrictive strata titles and additional monthly costs. I find Tropicana has fulfilled its end by increasing the total cost of ownership of Parkfield in comparison with Fairfield. I went for both launches and listened to both sales pitches about 1+ year apart, so I know what the nett price differences are. Factor in the loan interest rate increase, additional mandatory monthly maintenance fees for the grounds and facilities, and the fact that strata titles properties are much more restrictive compared to individual titles. I would say that the cost difference between Parkfield and Fairfield is quite considerable indeed.
I did not buy fairfield because it did not appeal to me. I do not recall anyone mentioning that fairfield is the only DSL home in the whole TH development. And if a sales rep did say that to me, I would take him to task, or take the "hot tip" with a large grain of salt. Look at the size of the development land, and ask yourself if what the rep tells you is possible. Some reps also said that there will be no high-rise in TH because of proximity to the military research base. I just smiled. The rep who served us was much more frank and straightforward. What I am trying to say is, those who bought Fairfield, don't despair, you did not get a rotten deal, and you are ahead of the value game. Unless you are a flipper, then maybe your upside is slightly dented by Parkfield. But because Parkfield is a totally different cost structure property, and stratified on top of that, you will still have the home buyers who prefer individual titles.
