Squash the charcoal, put inside tea bag paper filter



Do remember to bind a string/ribbon to the package so you can recover it when you wanted to change. Slot the bag of crushed charcoal into the receiver dryer(aircond blower/cabin filter) and you get maximum deodorizing effect

The bags can be found at most supermarket, as long there's an English tea range, they will sell the blank tea bag filter. Look for those palm size bags, not the ordinary tea bag like Iska posted. And yes, r3apers is right, saw it in Daiso also.

I have no idea how long it last, the last time I use the charcoal bag lasted me awhile until I change cabin filter baru throw away. Usually people change charcoal WHEN the charcoal started to get too wet, absorbed too much moisture. In this case, if it's in cabin filter area, it will never get wet.

Am now, too damn lazy to crush charcoal and bind in tea bags anymore. Instead, just go DAISO straight buy 1 bag RM5 of crushed charcoal in filter bag and slot them in It is more expansive compare to DIY(3kg for 10 bucks?), but save me lots of trouble lar.
