Mine's a funny story. I don't really watch football till I was 13. I was in NZ for holidays, and was at a department store. And somehow, the TV was showing a match of MU vs Liverpool (02/03 december 1, we won 2-1) and I saw how they played and thought OMG this team is super awesome. Fell in love at first sight, star struck by beckham and walah~ A fan is born.

Ups and downs since then, been through them all with the team. Favourite moment would be when Van der saar kept the longest clean sheet in history of PL. impressive stuff.

You are right, i'm not expecting thumping wins, crazy passes, crazy shots and total domination at first.

But I'm expecting at least a change in mindset and more linked passes and more coherent team with better back 3 or 4 depending on what formation we play.

bad day at the back. positive side we made 3 lovely goals. serious butthurt looking at the final score but oh well, you know what? proves we are doing well in ?mid and up front and the back is just.... well, the usual.

I know other clubs will be clucking and quacking and laughing. But you don't build an empire in a day. Even with LVG or even SAF!

now we need to figure out how to address the back problem now with blackett red carded. =/

I feel bad. And annoyed at other teams mocking us. how bout this, cripple or maim half of their defensive squad (DM,CB,LB,RB) and see how they do? Obviously defence will be a problem. Having said that, our defence was bad to start with, with injuries and stuff, just can't get any worse.
