I thunk what Rooney did was disgusting. To kick out a player to vent out your frustration, come on. You're the captain, you are supposed to lead by example. LVG should take disciplinary action on Rooney, that's not how a captain should be acting in a match.

Anyway, I'm glad 3 players made their debut today. Both Shaw and McNair played superbly tonight, the future is bright.

Rooney relies on 'fear' and emotion to approach players, like what he did last week. Like SGSuser said, he is the only capable leader apart from other inconsistent players like Evans, Fletcher etc.

We no longer have players like Keano or Vida to lead by example. Only time will tell if Rooney is a deserving captain for us.
