'MSN' lead Barcelona rout of Getafe
FC Barcelona vs Getafe (6-0)

8′ Messi (p)
24′ Suárez
27′ Neymar
30′ Xavi
40′ Suárez
47′ Messi

The trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar Jr. was assembled to put Barcelona back on the track to glory. They were put together to make history, and to become the single most scary trident on the planet -- sorry, BBC. They are now.

On Tuesday night's 6-0 destruction of Getafe, 'MSN' combined to find the net five times, with a brace each for Messi and Suárez, plus a contribution from Neymar. With that manita of scores, The Death Trio reached 102 goals this season, becoming the highest scoring triumvirate in the history of the Catalan club. In 2015 alone, they have bagged 59 goals together, ten more than the entire Real Madrid roster. Incredible. Read more

Barcelona vs Bayern Munich 6/5/2015

A mouth-watering tie at Camp Nou on Wednesday sees Pep Guardiola return to face his former side for the first time as the Spanish and German giants go head-to-head in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final. Overall, the Catalans have played host to German opponents on 25 occasions, from which they have recorded 17 wins and suffered seven defeats.

Luis Suarez form as part of the attacking trio alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar, who have scored a record-breaking 108 goals between them this term, sees Barca top the La Liga standings and has also been a major reason behind their positive displays in the Champions League.

Pep Guardiola is not so lucky, with a long list of injuries and a few key ones heading into the trip to Spain. Left-back David Alaba will be lucky to play a game again this season, whilst Holger Badstuber is out for the season. Javi Martínez has only just made his return after being out for most of the season, it would be a surprise to see the Spaniard feature in this one. Arjen Robben is out for the season with a calf injury whilst Franck Ribery is a doubt for this match having been troubled with an ankle injury. Robert Lewandowski is also a doubt, with a broken nose.

All in all, Barca managed to get 3 points and hold onto the lead in the table. They also managed to do that while playing their strongest attacking trio and yet not making them put in a heavy-shift. A win-win situation if anything.
The strike situation is something that will be resolved in the upcoming days and if it isn’t, Barca are assured of the Liga title and will lose out on the CdR, but it’s not how they would want to win the league. Definitely not like this. Hoping for a quick solution and Spain gets back to playing football that the world wants to see.
