Hi Guys,

Just went to have a gynae check up after months of heavy bleeding and cramps.
Then the gynae did a scan and urine test, she says i have fibroids build up in my uterus.
That what causing it to bleed heavily and abnormal pain/cramp.
This is also causing me not being able to conceive.
Now the doctor advise is to have a pap smear test and check the blood next monday.
Then finally is to remove the fibroids thru operation.
So sad after hearing this but glad i found out the reason.
Do any of u have this problem/experience.
Bcoz the gynae says its common among gals.
Please advise.

oh, dont fret much..
fibroids are actually quite common in most women. depends on your age also.
i had them as well, but it was removed last year, when i gave birth.
it's harder to conceive with them, but it doesnt mean you cant. once they're removed, you should be able to conceive better.
i didn't know i had them until i went to my gynae when i suspected i was pregnant. still delivered and removed it during my delivery.
since you found out early, you can have an opt to remove it then try for your baby after some time.
you can ask your gynae, they should be able to tell you more.
