any how, we no military power to fight with China, just need to admit it..

Not only us. Pinoy and Viet as well. If we take a look back on early this year issues - we have a hot situation at Spratlys and Scarborough. The nine-dash claim by PRC caused quite a stir together with ADIZ issue at East Asia.

The claim by PRC had caused Indonesia and Malaysia affected but compared to Pinoy and Vietnam - the media release or the voice of their foreign minister is quite harsh against those two (viet and pinoy). Only God knows what happened next. Indonesia had increased their presence at Natuna Island (which is claimed by PRC). The only way that we have is diplomatic and military deterrence.

We have to agree that Malaysia is a maritime nation and we direly need a maritime strike capability aircraft plus need a damn-good anti ship missile since PLAN and Coastguard dislike our Laksamana class a lot compared to the others.

We need to remember that China still need us because we have a special place with them. Oh yes, Uncle Sam won't be happy if we are getting too much with PRC and vice versa. Malaysia is like Malcolm in the Middle for this case.

Usually, Naval aircraft, including naval helicopters, have reinforced undercarriage. So it maybe that this fact enable the naval helicopter a much steeper approach, which resulted in a harsher landing than the normal helicopter can handle. Plus, it help that the BM5 deck is much larger than the helipad on a warship.
*
Aye, correct. And less people know about reinforced undercarriage and a some kind of stuff which I can't its name.. a hook or something that will hold the heli steady.

Funny how two of the largest countries and militaries in Asia only separated by a measly single layer of waist-high barbed wire and border guards are just straight up fraternizing all the time 'across the wire'. Also looking from the environment it seems like its freezing up there. biggrin.gif

freezing, indeed.. Once, there are recent clash between two nation's border guard where they are wrestle each other - to be actual Indian Guard wrestle them off. But lucky no a single shot fired.

The protection may be welcome, but I don't think the terrain of eastern Sabah can accept something as large and heavy wheeled vehicle as an MRAP.

Also we don't know how the condition of those MRAPs. Remember they go thru a lot of action over there.

What happened to A-4 Skyhawk, remember?
