Gallant IT Applecenter closed!, How to get replacement battery?

Hi. My iBook battery is listed in the battery recall program.
Does anyone know where i can get a new iBook battery? The applecenter at midvalley where i purchased my iBook no longer exists. Thanks. |

I believe they have relocated their HQ to Hartamas Shopping Centre.

I hate to walk into the apple shop in midvalley, they are displaying old stuff and there is one time when I ask the salesman there about the bag size for notebooks, he seems confusing and could not answer
 And the secnd time I ask about printer driver, he also could not asnwer |

a new store will open there soon, replacing Gallant. Known as "machine", authorized reseller as well.

hey ezralimm... the best is to drop it off at an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP)
VR Technology (03 2163 2020) would be a good one to start with... |

isnt apple warranty covers world wide. that means that i can go to any Apple shop in malaysia or the rest of the world and replace with a new set of battery right, if it is listed in the battery recall program. so it doesnt matter which Apple shop that i go to right?

yes, but they still send those collected mac or battery to service center. which VRtech is one of them.

actually... its better if customers go directly... cos the resellers like Gallant, MacAsia and so on... aren't supposed to do it for the customers... best would be to use the website...
