Flashed mine to CM11 UNofficial 4.4.4 2 days ago. So much faster than MIUI. Stable too. Everything works. Will now flash MIUI camera to it.

Those going to flash CM11, here's what u need.
1. Custom recovery. Best is Philz. 2. CM11 Unofficial port dated in April - Download cm-11-20150414-UNOFFICIAL-armani.zip 3. GApps. Use the nano version for CM11 - Download pa_gapps-modular-nano-4.4.4-20150308-signed.zip All 9 units of my company Redmi 1S using the above. Stable and battery life is enough for full day. U will find the phone will be very responsive after the update. Don't even need a PC to update. Just copy the files onto a microSD card and that's it. Tutorials are available online.
