The title said it all. Well, I'm looking to setup my own recording device. Hahaha. Actually, I just wanted to record my vocal + guitar sound directly to my computer. So, microphone and guitar both connected to audio interface that connected to the computer thru usb. The question it, is it enough for a fine quality audio recording? Any suggestion for audio interface. My current budget is below RM500. Thanks in advance. Or I just go for a condenser mic to capture both my voice and the acoustic guitar sound? QUOTE(Everdying @ Sep 2 2014, 10:36 AM) acoustic? plenty of cheap options out there, ckmusic sells a few. i suggest just buying the zoom H1 or H2. Thanks. Since the recorder are as the same price range as a condenser mic, I prefer to get the mic. Or will the recording sound crap later on even with a quality mic?

condenser mic is good enough if u hv quite room. and usually the usb type no need audio interface, only the xlr type.

QUOTE(ayonan @ Sep 3 2014, 10:21 PM) My room are not really quite. since u r doing miking, i guess some background/ambient noise can't be avoided. but the +ve side it will sound natural like someone is listening to you playing in ur room, unlike the DI method.
