Interswitch between kaf and other fund house will kena 1% redemption fee and 2% regular fee. Why would anyone do interswitch while you can move to cash management fund first ?
*
Are you sure? I did a switch to global titans and there is no redemption fee on KAFGEF.

hmm.gif why do you want to buy this?
is this the only fund that you have?
for comments on buying SC funds...you already mentioned ...(in RED)
If you have the stomach for it, then it I think it is always good to have some % in the portfolio...
yes, I do hv some % of SC in my portfolio
btw,..if you had got it for the whole of last year (Jan ~ Dec 2013).....huat-lah...about 60~70% plus
*
Yes, this is this only fund i have cry.gif . Don't have so much money to buy other fund yet, but will try to have some % of other fund in the portfolio later. Hopefully, this fund can have good return in next year. hmm.gif

Should i just believe what the agent suggest ? I bought this fund which is none of the suggestions he gave me, which i analyse this fund myself just based on the past history. I don't know actually how long to wait to get back the profit in reality , how's your earning for these 3 years?

hmm.gif just remembered this article.... sweat.gif sweat.gif
"A popular topic which arises frequently when we talk to investors is the notion of a “best fund” or “best market”. Also, upon further probing, the meaning of “best” is usually simplified to some measure of historical performance over a particular period. Anecdotal evidence suggests a healthy correlation exists between funds which appear on the “top performing funds” list and funds which are selling well, an indication that investors tend to place a lot of emphasis on a product’s track record. Is such an investment approach akin to driving a car by looking in the rear-view mirror?

.....investing is about the future rather than the past; it is where asset prices move in the future which determines the success of an investment made today".

hmm.gif a forumer once cautioned that "the waiting time maybe too long for it to be worthwhile". doh.gif shakehead.gif rclxub.gif

parting note...I believes your EISCF will see profits in 2015.... thumbup.gif

Sorry OFF Topic.
found this interesting info...maybe good for some that are in consideration of insurance.
"Age-standardised stroke rates for every 100,000 men last year was 296 for Malays, 199 for Indians and 184 for Chinese. For women, it was 195 for Malays, 131 for Indians and 105 for Chinese. Age-standardisation removes the influence of age distribution in each group and allows for a fair comparison. - See more at: http://www.straitstimes.com/news/singapore...h.gUI4WXGN.dpuf

700 per 100 000.....someone would be HAPPY to see this...

Topped up Aberdeen Aladdin World Equity and CIMB Asia Pac Dynamite Income bruce.gif

Reason? Both got quite a bit exposure to Australia AND global energy stocks, both got hit quite badly due to low commodity prices.

Ok, bonus can all park in CMF already, my budgeted amounts from bonus already pre-invested this couple of weeks. biggrin.gif
