I've been wanting to play WoW ever since it came out but I was a student back then and I couldn't afford a decent computer, let alone the game. Now that I can afford a (fairly decent) PC and the game, I would like to buy it. My question is that how many people still play WoW in Malaysia/Singapore?

Quite a lot. I can say more than 50 players on oceanic. Not sure for non oceanic though. For oceanic, I can say that Nagrand got quite alot active Malaysian players.

Just wanna put it out there. There is taiwan wow server with really low latency (60 for me). It's really good for pvp and pve and best part is you do not have to buy all the games to play in that server. You only have to pay the monthly costs. It's cheaper and a better gaming experience. Only downside is, very little english community there, let alone a sg/msia community. It's really fun there everyone should give it a try. About 170ms for me with 4mbps stemix

I don't know if Wildstar is better, it is tuned for elite player, vanilla WoW feels of game play. But yea, been trying a lot of free MMO, non of them can beat WoW, I quit them mostly after 1 week, despite their graphics are better, the feel is just not there. Much like vanilla CS vs CS Source.

Agree with you both. Tried a lot of mmorpg (including Wildstar), but nothing beats WoW so far. I quit wow for 3 years, now playin the game back

Yeah WoW is the best. But without friends playing its pointless
