I guess a lot of event will most likely happen off-screen. For example the subjugation of the Giant and Serpent, tomb raiders, etc.

those sounds a lot more interesting than onsen episode or "carne village shenanigans".

they are related to the main story later, but chii do agree, spending 2-3 episodes of the adventures of enri emmot is really time wasting, unless this is another 26 episode season.

How's the current story happened in this few episodes important enough to impact the later parts? Feel like just side stories without direct related with major plot

i dunno why u all complain leh..should we not be happy that they are actually following the light novel including the side stories. I am pretty happy since there is finally 1 company who in this current day do this.

At least now we know that all those side story is over and we can move forward with the main plot from now onwards.

inb4 they take 2 episodes to slowly introduce the grave robbers before they start their mission

because the number of episodes are limited, just worry they waste too much time on minor side stories and rush through/skip/offscreen the exciting/important ones.

like the chobit said, we don't mind if there are at least 26 episodes for this season. 13 episodes is too cramped to waste on trivial stuff.

it does have an impact on future parts, enri emmot is being set up as a main part of the story. the latest part on the LN on her was IMO pretty good.

introducing the grave robbers is good.
When they skipped the 5 fingers introduction of their skills, chii was disappointed, as the more boasting on their power, the harder they fall.

why wanna keep rushing ? later become like youjo senki rubbish story. youjo senki manga epic because of the proper story plots.

yea no need to rush. can slowly go as long as don't skip interesting bits.

so as an anime watcher only, i do feel confused about the sudden change of the story. However i do believe that overlord will not disappoint me. from the words that momon used to the workers i know its going to be interesting after this....
