Hi guys,

i am new to the forum and have been spending quite some time reading the whole V4 thread. Initially i just wanted to save my 13 years old wira's paint which has been neglected all these years. So i started washing and claying and boy it was the most wonderful feeling claying those rough surface into glass smooth paint and i now am hooked to this feeling sad.gif although the paint surface now is much cleaner and smooth but there are still visible scratches and chips that i need to work on. So here am i reaching out to your guys to see if anyone is willing to let go their makitas or dewalt smile.gif So far i've tried the random orbital from Black&Decker but it is not good enough to remove the scratches.

well, i have zero experience to be honest but i guess i need to start somewhere and if i just start with least aggressive product and pad and not go crazy with the speed of the buffer i should be alright right? Also this is an old car and i just want to see how much i can get out from this paint. If i can get this right then i am happy, if it goes south i am not too heart ache too smile.gif

So anyone willing to part with their rotaries? smile.gif

I was at Ace Hardware Mid Valley and saw they're selling this for RM200++
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000077CP...pf_rd_i=desktop

You might want to check it out at your nearest Ace Hardware store.

Guys.. How do you wash your micro fiber cloth after using to buff sealant/wax off? I tried using soap but it was still oily.

i uses dish washer to clean the microfiber cloth. Works for me.

Hi hi I just got my M2 last week and I'm very new in detailing! Please advise me some cleaning/polish/wax product? I don't need premium product just keep the car clean and shine no swirl can d. I dunno what cloth to buy or what product to use..I heard turtle wax is easy to use. Is that all what I need? Wash + polish + wax all at once? My budget buying all these around 200. Thanks alot!

you can start with quality microfiber cloths to begin with. Buy PG car shampoo, clay kit which includes a quick detailer and a clay bar, and any wax or sealant of your choice.

Guys recently in Facebook keep see soft 99 fusso wax or f7 keep promote is it good ? And really the wax can up to one year ( which mean just wipe on time) or the usage can use up to one year ??

i guess it depends on surface preparation, how much car shampoo is used for every wash and how the car is kept everyday.
