Collinite Fleetwax

lol got myself this paste wax and work on half of the car =P

the surface is first prep-ed, then lastly applied this wax. it's not as slick as my fav combo of DG PBA + DGTC(trackclaw). BUT the water repellency is absolutely fantastic! well it was hard to debuff no matter how thin layer it's applied or how hazy it became before debuff, argh used up some elbow strength xD

this wax is pure wax, absolutely ZERO cleaning ability, my pad is still clean after gliding thru some dirt patches lolol

now, let's see how this perform over time biggrin.gif anyone used this before? apa macam?

yo bro KrisMas can get me one ma if can smile.gif see u tmr TT btw

looks like the panel is being cement and painted before...maybe during factory or pre-delivery the panel dented and being touch up....- alot cases like that those...

nothing much can do, if you wet-sanding...it only thinner the paintwork...
*
mm probably. FYI, the the paintwork above the front fenders is having the 'pinhole' all over the place lol. For the door panels, i do see some, but very minor(still ok la). From the hood & rear, they are good.

Wonder if this due to road debris ... :S

here's wat i read from google lol:
some pin hole looking holes in the paint may also be silicone in the paint .. if you can see down to the primer throught the top colour it will have to be snaded back and re sprayed.

sigh, anyway, sad la =( respray is the only option? or i should live with it xD

Bad news bro, only way to fix that is to strip everything down to bare metal/plastic and repaint. It's on my Waja paint as well...on the front bonnet and rear boot. Initially they weren't there. But after a few rounds of compounding and polishing more and more started to appear, ie. the more the clear coat is taken off the more they appear. I don't know how or why they appear but my painter said can't do anything. I've tried sanding but no go.
*
ya, same to me, i was doing compounding(wool + makita), then the finishing is furious... the pinholes pops up FARK MY LIFE i should not expose them *scratch head* ...

sigh very sad news indeed to knwo i have the only respray option hahaha T.T

anyway thanks bro KrisMas for the honest but sad answer =P

Premier was never filter properly before put into the mixer and coming out from nozzle...typical factory paintwork thats WHY clear coat is there to make it LOOK NICER.....detailer will like to have perfect finishing - tendency of killing the paintwork wink.gif
*
ooo TIL factory paintwork i tot is good enuf =.= thanks tho =(

Just a question here. Is there any way to get this thing over the counter in supermarket/shop around us? Similar kind of applicator block is fine too.

2 cars have 2 sets of wheels, and total of 4 cars so like 6 sets of wheels tongue.gif

and nah i don't use them on weekly basis, just would rather keep than sell off just to run out of it sooner and have to buy again.

I don't remember having any stones fly at my windscreen, though. And all these white dots are spread across the whole windscreen. If it's contamination, is there any way to remove them? oO
