Bro, if you wash your car with either ONR or OCWash then it won't be a fair comparison....those two stuffs are loaded with beading 'enhancing' polymer. Even bare panel would bead after using either of the products.

I would love to see the beading effect of OOC after multiple wipes with IPA or OPC....now that would be very convincing indeed.

Right well then, I rest my case since I used ONR and OCWash. But Opti Coat can withstand OPC and other APC no? Ok maybe the beading might affect, which I not sure. Since people usually re-wash the whole car.

Its a general chemical which manufacture by alot of companies, you get it from some of the pharmacy else buy from LYN forum here.

Was told it was Opti-Coat before apply.
Well, it was done by the brand owner himself, guess it should not be the issue of application. The car was only 3 months old.

Maybe what krismas said is correct, the Optimum shampoo helps in retaining or adding the durability of the coat. Should have told my friend this... He refused to use ONR simply because no bubbles   

But I was thinking, why not the vertical panel while only horizontal panel that was affected only... Is it heat issue or what..?

Actually I was told of the warranty period, but since nothing in hand-writting, should I go back to the detailer?

What would shops/detailers do in issue like this? Re-apply the coat?

Ok well, according to Autogeek forum, whereby in certain areas many people need to deal with hard water, as in even when they washing their car with any their favorite shampoo, they needed to rinse real often else the waterspots etch in like within minutes. Adding one cap of ONR helps "soften" the water for them.

ONR do not produce bubbles like those "snow car wash"... Well, telling someone noob on detailing is like that, no bubbles mean not clean, period. I still laugh even though he is my best friend, hysterically. 

Well, there are plenty of other coating that is easily available in the market. But if you want to try Opti-coat, then should probably use ONR or optimum related products... since it can prolong the durability of the coating, maybe. I say maybe because so far don't see much feedback on the post application.

Maybe paint coating is not a really good idea to detailers, like me and quazacolt. Even after apply paint coat, I still wash my car and wax it like crazy...

Yeah, that Maximus guy suggested that compound polish is required (ie. 3 layer polish + 1 layer of wax). Ordinary 2 layers won't cut it anymore because the whole process has been ruined during the polishing procedure. The original detailer offered to fixed it for me but I am afraid of taking my car back to them again. Since they sucked the first time, they most probably sucked the second time and subject my car paint to another abuse by them, is just stupid.

Hmm, how do they measure? Maybe i should ask this Maximus guy to measure it. I know for once they say Honda paints are very soft.

Talking about orange peel. I have several stone chips on my front hood. Very very small. The black pain is already gone revealing a white base but after that disastrous polishing and waxing, one of the chips reveals orange base =(
