dressing = attract dust

What should we use (as alternative to dressing product) for keeping our engine look at it's best? Need recommendation please. Thanks  notworthy.gif

i see.. well last time i did spray some PG tyre shine on the engine's hard plastic parts (air box, other boxes). looks shine and nice and happy. 1-2 weeks later, all dust on top.

so.. normally you guys (your preference) is not put on dressing on engine bay?

No coating there guys....CD2 Engine Detailer. And the pictures were taken after just a spray with Megs SD + rinse (no brushing, scrubbing, etc.), and the CD2 applied (after a thorough cleaning, of course) a couple of months (or so) before that.

Almost failed geography at school....is Kulaijaya close to SG? U go there often? If so, then shinecars.com or optivax SG would be the best place to get those.

Not quite far but I never in my life step my feet in Singapore yet. It's quite a hassle to do my passport just for the sake of getting this stuff... but thanks a lot for your suggestion. Can be considered in the future. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

They do online shop and ship here. Close to you maybe shipping/currier would be cheaper.

Daily driven cars require more frequent MAINTENANCE, much like changing engine oil, the more distance you travel the more frequent you'd need to make the oil change. It's not about the dressing, it's about 'you'. Clean often enough, you don't really need dressings. Same goes to sealants/waxes. Wash your car often enough you don't really need these 'sacrificial protective layer' since contaminant don't have time to attack the paint. But in the real world, you'd need them since you won't be washing your car each and every day... sweat.gif
