i did read that religion contradict with modern science, vice -versa. its like if you believe in god, u are not 'scientific'; and if u believe in science, religion seems superstitious.
-religion and moral point of view: sex b4 married is prohibited.
-in the aspect of science: having sex is human nature/ basic instinct between male and female duality of biology and reproduction. theres nothing as right or wrong nor good or evil.
but to me personally, i would said try to avoid sex b4 marriage. this statement is due to my religion & orientalism background.
conclusion:
if i follow 1st rule, 2nd rule seems logical and neutral.
but if i follow the 2nd rule, i would be in trouble since it goes against rule 1!!!
now you see the pros & cons, dont u?
btw, i started to realise that with the help of science & tech, more & more "mythos" mentioned in the bible has been proven. satellites do assist scientists in locating the noah's ark where it was previously know as mythos. too many similar cases that i couldnt list.......(orelse gonna be off topic)
