Let's just analyse it in logic way.

DAS 4 pro:
- high quality
- standard layout (easier for aftermarket keycaps replacement)
- cool for you
- aluminium matte plate on the top instead of glossy finish like older models
- 2 USB 3.0 ports on the keyboard

cons:
- expensive shipping to M'sia (Price Factor)
- ugly oversize volume knob (REDUNDANT things ever on keyboard), we want to get keyboard not volume controller.
- Full-size layout (non-ergonomics, DAS do not offer TKL/60% layout series for typists)
- only available in MX Blue & Brown
- awkward ruler for angle tipping instead of rubber feet (attached to the base by magnets)

Hit or Miss?
- uses costar stabilizer on all except spacebar

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Conclusion, the oversize knob and price (including shipping) and FULL-SIZE layout really big turn offs.
Whereby, I can get a Filco TKL (Japanese brand) with top 1 quality in manufactured keyboard with reasonable price (~RM369).

Those high rated things <-- please don't believe, ppl also high rate Razer here thanks to those reviews.
In this forum, you will start listen to a lot of brands you don't even know they exist in the first place.
Like Realforce, PFU, Filco, Keycool, Plum, CM, etc.  wub.gif

Most of the laymen only knows Razer, SteelSeries, DAS, Corsair etc when they know mechanical keyboards.
*
adding in my 2 cents.. tongue.gif

Personally the only thing that sets me back is the full-sized layout only. Plus high shipping cost to Malaysia.

Thanks for the replies guys!

I bought my keyboard in such a hurry, forgot to check if all the contents are in the box. In the end, it's missing both the keycap puller and the WASD alternative caps =/
*
AFAIK only certain models of Majestouch 2 came with the wirepuller, namely Ninja, Camo.
I bought a ninja TKL at the same time with my friend who bought a normal TKL.. mine has a wire puller but none for him.

Not sure about the WASD or Esc keys, might be even more rare to see them included with the Majestouch 2.

Is it common for Poker II aluminium casing to cost around that much? Planning to get one in the future but not too sure where to start.

Nope, only FMJ hard anodized version cost that much.
Group buy from CN is 1500rmb last time.
*
I see. How does other aluminium cases (e.g those found in taobao) compare with this? Night and day difference? hmm.gif

case 1 is what captvincenzo is using, you can ask him how does it feel typing in a low profile alu case.

case 2 is basically clone of hammer case. boycott clone support ori tongue.gif
*
Haha.. summon summon captvincenzo for feedback tongue.gif

Well I don't mind splurging more for better quality, but I need time to top up my budget laugh.gif

This is a very good deal. I wanted to get it but I already own an alu case.
Someone please get it!! We can trade if you want biggrin.gif
*
hmm.gif Tempting, but I'm not a fan of the default Poker II case profile. Seems like the only real deal I can get for now is this Vortex case or the MKC Aluminum case.

Vortex case you mean like mine (low profile)?
That MKC does look good. If you can get your hand on a FMJ that would be better. biggrin.gif
*
Vortex case in the current Massdrop - I'm confused whether that case is low profile (like yours) or the stock Poker II profile. Does your case look anything similar to that?

wub.gif FMJ.. I can only drool & dream for now. Need more maggi to built that bajet; but even with bajet also not necessarily can get sweat.gif

That case on massdrop has a lower profile than the original Poker II case.
The metal plate of your Poker will be on the same level with the case lips, therefore your caps will float.

Get that one bro. At that price point it's a very good deal. Hardly to get better than that. smile.gif
*
Gahh. drool.gif I need to buy that. Seems to be the same one with the GB Pexon organized in Geekhack.

Major fail doh.gif

Just realized my Paypal account haven't linked with any card.

Drop ending in 2 days, will I be in time to get my Paypal verified by then? Heard it takes a few working days to get the Paypal code.

Or drop it and shoot budget up the sky for MKC casing. blink.gif

If not mistaken I got my Debit card to link with Paypal within minutes, it'll charge your card with RM10 for verification and then it'll be at your Paypal account for deduction during purchase.
Well, everything is fast, even you do purchase using Paypal, your phone (mobile number of your Debit card) should alert you with SMS once there's transaction through Paypal. wink.gif

Seems to have better luck on aftermarket keycaps rather than the board sweat.gif

Coincidentally 016's keycaps sold off better than the white Filco (except the white Taihao)

.: White colour no luck laugh.gif

Guys, what are your preferred shipping company to ship a keyboard from WM to EM, and how much would it cost?

I used GDEx / City-Link shipping calculator for a 1.5 kg parcel and it looks expensive.

Poslaju is enough, just need to wrap it enough to dampen any rough handling.
Basically the original packaging is pretty much enough. wink.gif
Poslaju should cost you around RM11 to RM15 depends on service and destination.
