I've been diving sooo long, and almost missed the Granite R2...
Luckily seen it yesterday, and I getting myself a set directly from Massdrop biggrin.gif

So you guys are sharing the postage?
Mind to tell how much does it cost for each of you after splitting the postage?

Update:
WoW, saw in the post regarding the Granite Massdrop....
splitting $14.90? That's very low!

i still cant decide on HHKB or RF87u 45G, what should i be considering beside the layout learning curve?
*
Size and the shortcut key...
I think the layout HHKB Pro2 for the |\ key as backspace is great.
but I miss the arrow keys... for HHKB's arrow keys, you need to hold down the Fn key,
that make it somehow difficult to make selection holding down shift key...

but for the \| key as backspace,
even as I m keeping my RF87 as my primary keyboard,
I configured my RF87 to make the backspace key "\|".

Any that is my opinion.

I suggest that you get a replacement set of keycaps,
then you can keep the original one and not using them,
when you wanna sell it in the future, put the original keys on,
then it is worth more biggrin.gif

Hmm..... is electro capacitive keyboard now very common?

https://www.massdrop.com/buy/noppoo-electro...citive-keyboard

CM has Nova Touch, and now this...

and these can use normal MX keycaps.... making me kinda wanna pull the trigger. biggrin.gif
then I can use all my collection of Novelties MX keycaps on Capacitive switches keyboard.. drool.gif

These files for store configuration of remap keys in every keyboard.
So, different keyboard plug in to mac, it will load different keymap configurations. laugh.gif
Gamers need shorter actuation time.
Last time we see:
Razer offered 1.9mm (shorter actuation time)
Logitech offered 1.5mm (shortest actuation time)
Better in result during gaming. laugh.gif
Why no jailhouse blue mod pictures? lurk your sakai4eva imgur also can't find any trace of your new project. cry.gif
Novatouch is using real Topre. You can check in my review thread. I got open the whole keyboard and see.

Noppoo, uisng their own capacitive switch.

Just pull the trigger. Do it in master race way.
Buy Nova as donor board, and transfer the slider to your 10years anniversary Topre.
*
If I transfer the slider from the Nova, I can't use the 10th anniversary Topre keycaps on it anyway doh.gif
if I am getting a Nova, I'll be selling off my 10th Anniversary...

Dental modded both my 45+55g mix Realforce 87U and 55g HHKB just now. Incoming some unflattering picture:

Gotta say, while I do like the raindrop sound, the shorter key distance travelled make me think whether I should unmod the dental band back. I still need to try some lubes first before completing my HHKB.  rclxm9.gif

Is it difficult to push the slider from the switch housing?
I never push one out before, it feel very tight and I m afraid of breaking it...

It is in fact pretty hard to push the slider out the first time I done it on my 87U, and you WILL end up breaking a bit of the little talon/notch from the slider to detach the slider from the housing. I learned that the easiest way to push out the slider is by using a ruler/screwdriver and use a bit of force by pushing down. A small bits from the notch of the slider will break but there won't be a problem reattaching the slider back inside the housing. Good luck with your mod if you're planning to do it  thumbup.gif

So where do you get the dental band?
can you help me get some? biggrin.gif

See my signature?

It's old, I sold my HHKB now, and dunno how to update it biggrin.gif
anyway, the other one is the Realforce, which is using Topre switch,
now CM's Novatouch is using it too, and it can use normal Cherry MX keycaps, which I m thinking......

feelings about the infinity keyboard kit? everything about it is so cool imo. so tempted to get it with mxclears and dem black blanks..

but shipping................ T.T aaaaaaaaaaaaaa

https://www.massdrop.com/buy/infinity-keyboard-kit

(also with the caps being raised above the case if the sp blanks come out jagged around the edges then it would be really ugly)

( rolleyes.gif just trying to find reasons to suppress my urge of buying it)

group buy is the answer to shipping costs? biggrin.gif
