I'm playing a wild card here, never touched topre and never used a 60%

I think 60% keyboards are the best size.
To me that is. I'm sure you'll like how compact it is blush.gif

Are the lubes available locally or do I have to buy lubes online too? If I buy separately, the price will be around $60 and I guess it will be worth the extra $20 since GON is pretty good at tuning and it will reduce the risk of mistake I'll probably gonna make if I tune it on my own?
*
you can get lubes from techkeys. I got mine from them. "Thick Formula" is what I used for my ergo clears.
I guess the way each person lube or tune it is different.
Initially, a few of my switches felt very different after tuning. Some had too much lube, some had too little etc.
It takes time but I guess after you do a few, you'll get the hang of it. They include like this fine needle like thing, it helps a lot when you want to lube the internals of the switch. Just a small drop and if you wanna spread it around, they provide a brush. It's fun, but tedious of course. That's why I feel sometimes the workmanship for mech key are very undervalued. If you'd like to add some stickers, do it while you're lubing. Saves more time. Not that it helps a lot but it does looks nice laugh.gif

See, I joined GH in Aug 2013, almost a year. In that one year, I had won almost 8 BroBots in each of the sales that happened. I had lost about 2-3. As for CC, I lost in the 420 sales last April but CC later selected a few who joined in 420 for the Earth Day Dibs and I was one of them selected. That was how I won the Eyeland and Enviro CC (my current Avatar). I am Malaysian. I don't know them at all. I gotta think it is through raffles or fast email submission and luck. Sometimes  I stayed up till 3AM or 4AM to participate in the sale.

Of course, I also participate actively in the forum and contribute as a community member. I don't think it's entirely fair to say that there is preference sale. If there are any intention to give preference, Bro Caps or CC does not have to do a sale. Why do they have to proof this? They might as well give them dibs privately! Bro Caps sometimes do give private dibs. But I think on the public sales, it's free for all and fair.
*
Yep this is true. I did not get into the first bb v2 sale but brocaps gave me dibs after that blush.gif
I remember the chaos for the first buy. That's why if I were to sell it, I'll sell it for the price I got it from bro.
He's really a nice guy. laugh.gif

i got no beef  with people trying their luck in sales. much respect for going the right way.

my beef is with those 'senior' members who bash the counterfeiters till the end of the world, but turns the way around when their own circle throws ridiculous money for them caps.

then they have the audacity to 'ask' everyone else wait for literally months and spend $200 for a cap. oh and with luck.  doh.gif
*
I know who are those you've mentioned brows.gif but either way, I never participated in Clacks sale before.
For some reason, I'm slowly moving away from novelty keycaps. More interested in korean boards/60% nowadays laugh.gif

Actually yes.
I have a Unconsicous and F2 Red skull on its way. This is from a trade of Revenge Red buckling spring and OOC Orange Brobot.

I also have a Summer Set Brobot MX on its way. Also from a trade.

And a Jawless Lit Purple from a giveaway I won.

And finally a Dolly which I manage to get into a sale.

Exciting times!!

I am. My priority is still Topre CC and BB.. but now, I kinda like KBK Mummy 2. So, perhaps that's what I will collect. Again, retail only these days. No more aftermarket stuff.

But I kinda like the Dollies. They are fun. CC and BB are serious stuff. Useful in a work keyboard. But at home, depend on mood, the Dollies can really cheer things up. The MX Summer set was a good trade that I couldn't resist. Hope that I can then trade the MX BB for Topre BB smile.gif

if you can get clacks with retails price, then I guess it's alright. then again, most of the nice ones are sold pretty long ago. tongue.gif
