I now use without the feet lifted up after few months using the feet, and I realized the switches feel stiffer when bottom out if I lifted the feet up. sweat.gif

Stiffer?  hmm.gif
Probably the way you press down the keys is straight down instead of pushing slanting forward (angle) which explain the switches being stiff due to switches stem is rubbing the housing. hmm.gif
Well, I could be wrong...  hmm.gif  unsure.gif

It just feels stiffer regardless which angle I pressed it sweat.gif

What about these?

https://heavy-arm.com/en/118-mechanical-keyboard-accessories

I've no idea where to buy keycaps i only saw this one available
*
These are Taihao Doubleshot ABS brows.gif

I'm also using it now rather than the stock Filco keycaps, however imo the stock Filco keycaps feel better than these Doubleshot ABS. sweat.gif

Any coders or programmers here? Would like to know whether 60% layout or TKL is more suitable for a coder-to-be. tongue.gif

I'm not sure whether I will use the keys left out from the 60% layout frequently or not, or it depends on the language to be coded?

Also why people say HHKB is a programmer keyboard? Nope I'm going to get them just asking. biggrin.gif

May I know what programming language you use for coding purpose?
*
I'm not too sure though, haven't started it yet. sweat.gif

I'm deciding which layout will be suitable for me, cause I need it portable but I'm worrying I will miss the keys left out in 60%.

Also giving myself a reason to buy one more keyboard brows.gif

I'm not sure what kind of answers you are looking for.

About HHKB part:

For programming:
- Don't use fuctional keys like F1-12
- Most of the time touch typing (lazy fingers)
- using arrow keys are bad habit if you are using VIM (so, arrows keys redundant too)
F1-12, arrow keys, page up down etc all become redundants for some programmers.
Hence, 60% keyboard is a good choice.

Smaller, compact with lesser redundancy. laugh.gif

Of course, arrows keys are very important if you using a lot of different software and apps in your OS.
TKL is more universal, much better in my opinion.

Advice: Don't buy something you want but you don't need to impress others. doh.gif

This has answered my question I guess laugh.gif

I think I'll get myself a TKL in near future then.

60% layout is actually quite good especially when you're taking keyboard to office. Might takes time to get use to it though.
Currently using 65% layout, but have been ditching my arrow keys since using fn + wasd for navigation is much better as I dont have to move my right hand.
As for f1-f12 keys, depending on development apps you're using. If basic software like vim, gedit, notepad++, dont really need those.
*
I still have a full layout keyboard to back up in case if I really need them biggrin.gif

Thanks for the tips.
