Just got myself a Filco Majestouch 2 brown switch from Viewnet for RM389...my first mech. Been waiting for make the switch for more than two years, glad I finally did =)

Still figuring out how to turn off NumLock as a default when I boot my machine. Anyone for ideas?

Thanks for the replies guys!

I bought my keyboard in such a hurry, forgot to check if all the contents are in the box. In the end, it's missing both the keycap puller and the WASD alternative caps =/

Thanks for clarifying. Cos before I bought my normal majestouch, I remember I saw someone on Youtube reviewing a Camo version and it came with the puller and WASD (I think) included. But yeah, no big deal. I guess...

I was at Viewnet in Low Yat yesterday and saw that they have Filcos. The box actually showed that they have puller and WASD. But I don't remember if it was the Ninja or Majestouch 2. This Viewnet have a lot of mech keyboard.
*
Haha I went there yesterday as well. And yeah, they stocked up quite a bit. But their Filcos most of their stock gone d. Was aiming to have to look at the Majestouch AI blue I saw a month back but its gone d, along with every other Majestouch 2 browns except the last unit which I ended up buying.

I decided to prepare an .ahk file for volume up, down and mute keys on my Majestouch, but after trying for an hour, I still couldn't figure out how to execute the file on startup cry.gif

I basically want to be able to control my volume via my keyboard as long as my PC is turned on with the following shortcuts.

Win + Arrow Up = Volume Up
Win + Arrow Down = Volume Down
NumPad Enter + NumPad Plus = Mute/Unmute

Anyone wiling to lend a hand? icon_question.gif

If you want to specify only Right Win modifiers then you alter both to below code:

CODE

RWin & Up::Send {Volume_Up}
RWin & Down::Send {Volume_Down}

*
Hmm, I didn't know that this was possible. The alternative you provided is better, I think I'd modify my code for that.

Btw, do you happen to know how to code that between the right Windows key and the right Ctrl on the Majestouch 2 basic? It currently works like a mouse right-click.

Still figuring out how to get these scripts to work automatically on startup. I can't find the 'Reload this script' button...

I'll let you know when I run out of options tongue.gif

Right click the toolbar icon of Autohotkey, and you will see "Reload This Script".

If you want to code work during startup, then you drag the software to startup folder.

That is not mouse right click. That is PC_Application key.
That key is scan code as below.
CODE
SC15D

*
Got it! Learnt so much today haha.

Sorry if I'm troubling you but I have one last request for the time being.

I want to set the PC Application key to the British Pound sign. Any ideas? hmm.gif

Oh, and remember the advice regarding InitialKeyboardIndicators you gave me a few days back? It stopped working after I ran the 'Refresh My PC' tool. Now the settings won't register during startup evemthough I keep changing it back to ''0''.

Alt+156 (how to type £ in US keyboard layout)

Cos I remember reading the AHK guide saying ! is code for alt, so I thought that that method would work haha.

rough-ish keycaps mean pbt materials.
Stocked filco is ABS materials, which more smooth.

Look more like stock Filco? in terms of ? color? font? profile height of keycaps? or?
*
Hmm...never researched alternative keycaps before actually.

I'm looking for something like my Filco's Spacebar. Duno why it's the only keycap that's rough.

In terms of colour (white on black) and fonts. I want it to look like a regular keyboard essentially and not stand out too much.

Any shops I can go to find keycaps? I don't feel comfortable with making purchases online as I'm buying with the touch and feel of my purchase.

QUOTE(cloud8992 @ Sep 5 2014, 04:53 PM)
you can go check out ducky side print keycaps look rough but not sure only know that cyntrix tech selling for rm120
http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index....ct_detail&p=230
*
So I would assume that only blank caps and side-printed caps are rough?

Sorry, if my questions sound stupid but I'm still learning smile.gif

Is this the ones you were talking about? And how to determine if the keycaps are really matte/rough. And what are the thick PBTs I keep seeing? Got different grades?
QUOTE(plurbuddyskuppy @ Sep 5 2014, 05:29 PM)
im prefer with numpad.

I bought my Majestouch with numpad browns from Viewnet Lowyat last week. I don't think got any more blue switches, but there were a few reds. Not sure about the Ninja and Camo versions though.

Anybody can assist me to create a script on AutoHotkey to open up Windows Media Player and shuffle music?

I want to program it to Windows key + F5 (#F5).

I'd really appreciate the help! smile.gif

Can you explain more details upon pressing Win + F5?
*
Sure smile.gif

Basically when I press Win + F5

1. Windows Media Player to opens up.
2. Windows Media Player starts playing my entire collection.
3. Windows Media Player forwards to the next song. (by default, it always starts with the same song on the top of the playlist. Only when you forward to the next song will it truely shuffle music)
