you see for yourself.
it's up to individual's preference.

the design is different.
there's 2 volume knob replacing 4 application keys. EDIT: just found out that the one i'm looking at is a special demo edition or something. they have normal version without the knobs and still have that 4 app shortcut keys.
some new lighting feature i suppose (didn't check on that)

if you don't have the need for fullsize keyboard, i would recommend cooler master quickfire rapid-i
it's a sturdy board, gaya looking, got led (it only comes with white led if i'm not mistaken)

as for the type of switch, again, it's up to your preference. no switch is greater than other except for the fact that you might like one type more than the other.
one thing for sure, go try it out with your own hands on the different type of switches. only you will know what suits your taste.

"Optical Switch" keyboard from taiwan. it sounds like a gimmick but there's a real product out there. i wonder if a tactile version can be made whistling.gif

Interesting design.
Now there are less points of failure.

If you have a good spring in there, technically it could last forever.

Why do you want to spray the case in the first place?
Because you want a white case? or mainly because you interested in DIY?

Do you find any filco replacement casing you like in taobao yet?
*
Both..

Only found modded case...can't seem to find the stock ones...

QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ Nov 19 2014, 11:28 AM)
If you know how to do and you should have do it right. Your impatient is wrong. tongue.gif If you spray too thick, that will be a problem. That's why it's the best to paint with multiple thin layer. Easier to cover and make them equally painted. I'm willing to help but too bad I can't.
*
Yea...I sudah insaf...now its either wait till I damn free and got mood only do it back properly or just use it as it is until I found a replacement one...

*
That depends on your preference, 60% needs to press another key (Fn) to access the F1 to F12, and if Fn is hold, WASD will become arrow keys, Fn + Spacebar will activate Fn lock, so you won't need hold Fn key all the time.
I didn't play games on my previous 60% so I'm not sure how much does it affect gaming, it may or not affect depends on each playing style and keys usage.

I try my best helps to summarize the details of this pcb group buy.

1. Based on GH60 rev.B pcb design with slight "difference or improvement" as he claimed.
2. Added PTC, short circuit protecttion sort of stuff.
3. Support both mini and micro usb header (so u can choose which one to solder on this pcb)
4. Added side SMD LED points, total 19 of them. Size 0805, have an individual switch for side LEDs On/Off (not sure if it is by hardware/software controlled).
5. The rest are blablabla about future support of bluetooth + lithium battery mountings etc.........

PCB colors are to be determined afterward, either black/white.
Group buy closing date = 25 Nov 2014.
Production takes bout 20days,
Estimated shipping out time is mid of Dec.

*Personal advice: this seller/author is not that reliable, he made some short gb for ss plates (glossy type) but 016 received them in seriously bad condition, scratches everywhere.......

If you want another 60% PCB cheap from china i only know one that at least reliable:
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z0k...._u=l1pvtgcp4d7c
Not sure if he still got any stock left, i can help to ask if u want.

Thank you for the explanation smile.gif . Was interested because of the bluetooth support, for juggling between work and home, plus my moody office laptop, randomly disconnecting and reconnecting usb devices. And not really interested with filco minila spacebar layout.

Since the seller is not reliable, i'll wait for the first batch to go first, and see if there's actually a proper bluetooth support for it in the future. Unless hasu/soarer manage to make proper implementation of bluetooth laugh.gif . Better wait than sorry.

For bluetooth support, u can consider gon's nerd 60, the latest version one. although korean pcb are expensive generally, but at least the quality is there.
chinese pcb very depending on the "maker" =_=''

edit: the nerd tkl v2 and mobirk also have bluetooth supports.

Haha same here, need to fund slowly for keyboard stuffs with patience.
If u plan to use alu case with bottom mounting points, just make sure the clearance is enough for your lithium battery underneath of pcb.
