Hi guys, restarting the SP GB thanks to the granite bonus set. Check my siggy for info.

As usual, we will be following my usual routine (will be outlined in the thread) to ensure transparency and fairness smile.gif

If you don't mind the short space bar, and don't plan to put aftermarket keyset, why not.

How bout the Razer BW tournament edition? The current edition featuring Razer switch.

No one here will recommend Razer, and that's not excluding me biggrin.gif

Why not Code Keyboard?

That's why I never see Razer discussion over here  sweat.gif

About the Code Keyboard, I never press MX Clear and Green before. Is it close to Blue Switch?

TBH, I only try Blue and Razer switch in real life.  sweat.gif
*
Nope, the Clear/Green switch is of different kind.
They are tactile, without the clicky sound of the blue switch.

I also tried Razer clicky switch last week. It's lovely, but I would get a 'proper' blue mech KB rather than a Razer. biggrin.gif

FYI, MX Blue and MX Green are basically the same, they both are tactile+clicky, just different spring where MX Green has harder spring (about 80g)
MX Clear is tactile, almost similar to MX Brown, but it has more tactile and harder spring (about 70g)
*
Oh ya, my bad. Mistakenly think that MX Green is the stiffest version of tactile switch. sweat.gif
That would be the grey.

This case is looks much better (copied design and resized from LZ MX SE 75% anyway  whistling.gif )
price is very reasonable.the "creator" of his made 5000 units.
thats why the price is cheap.

Deadline for order?

And I hope the plate won't contain any weird brand name tongue.gif

Anyone knows the answer to this? unsure.gif

I'm asking because I can't see other differences other than the pricing.

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Oct 28 2014, 02:16 PM)
I won't let the general feels of a single key press determine which switches I'm going with, I bought my Filco blind due to strong suggestion from this thread, after I got the keyboard, it was totally different from what I expected.

After I got my Poker 2, I noticed the differences of:
1. Build quality (Filco vs iKBC)
2. Plate mount vs PCB mount
3. Keycaps material and thickness
4. With and without O-ring

I think for those MKB sifu, there's plenty more of why they choose one over another, but I'll leave it for others to add to the list.
*
So which one you think is better?

Can anyone else comfirm this? That clipping cherry stabilizers only works on PCB mounted cherry stabilizers?
*
Poker II stabilizers are plate mounted, and I clipped them.
Need to desolder the switches though.

How does it feel after clipping them? What about the LEDs? Do i need to desolder the LEDs on the spacebar too?
*
Yes, need to desolder the LED too since you need to take out the switch.
Feels linear, no more mushy feeling. I'm sure it will feel better after lubing.
