Yeah, I REtraded as the Brobots are originally his, and he's kind enough to agree to trade it for his pink blanks
If you plan to sell the pink keysets in garage sales, do let me know.

QUOTE(nodeffect @ Oct 1 2014, 10:14 AM) you cant compare your preference with another person, everyone has their own preference. most started with mx blue for the loud hey-im-working-over-here clicking sound, or im-a-gamer mx red. when u want something more quiet but wants to retain the tactile feeling, thats mx brown for u. and then there's the not so common mx black, mx clear, mx green.... there's no way for you to fully test out the switches on a switch tester (typing>pressing), so it is recommend either for u to test it out on demo keyboard or loan different switches keyboard from friends. another alternative is to buy and sell/trade if you no like the switch |

QUOTE(nemesis94 @ Sep 27 2014, 07:02 PM) Dental modded both my 45+55g mix Realforce 87U and 55g HHKB just now. Incoming some unflattering picture: Is it difficult to push the slider from the switch housing?» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Gotta say, while I do like the raindrop sound, the shorter key distance travelled make me think whether I should unmod the dental band back. I still need to try some lubes first before completing my HHKB. I never push one out before, it feel very tight and I m afraid of breaking it... |

QUOTE(kaysa @ Oct 1 2014, 11:07 AM) Is it difficult to push the slider from the switch housing? It is in fact pretty hard to push the slider out the first time I done it on my 87U, and you WILL end up breaking a bit of the little talon/notch from the slider to detach the slider from the housing. I learned that the easiest way to push out the slider is by using a ruler/screwdriver and use a bit of force by pushing down. A small bits from the notch of the slider will break but there won't be a problem reattaching the slider back inside the housing. Good luck with your mod if you're planning to do it I never push one out before, it feel very tight and I m afraid of breaking it... |

QUOTE(kaysa @ Oct 1 2014, 11:35 AM) I got it from Ebay with the specific size 3/16" Medium 3.5oz either http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEON-3-16-MEDIUM-3...=item1e7d2d9b0f or http://www.ebay.com/itm/130949156870 . You might want to check some Dental clinic first in case they got the one with the exact size. |

He chose the noxious set, then found out it was too yellow, instead of green for his taste, and asked if it's ok to take the pink blank instead. No problem, of course, as I think in a trade, both must be able to enjoy the caps. It's a community after all |

The downside of the o-ring: will reduce actuation distance. |

See my signature?PS, wtf is this -> http://www.ebay.com/itm/Qty-150-Rubber-O-R...=item19e70cedac It's old, I sold my HHKB now, and dunno how to update it anyway, the other one is the Realforce, which is using Topre switch, now CM's Novatouch is using it too, and it can use normal Cherry MX keycaps, which I m thinking...... |
