I used to play a loy of games.....Micro genius...SEGA Megadrive....Super Famicom...PSX....Dreamcast......PS2... And completed a lot of RPG's....most of the time i used to play 3-4 rpgs at one go.... But nowadays...cant seem to find the time...all my RPG's are stagnant...only the really ggod ones i completed....and good adv games like RE4...Onimusha....
Guess my next console will be either Wii or PS3....Wii will be my first....PS3 maybe later...and i will be playing only 1-3 games per year....cos wanna buy Ori.....then can sell back to you guys....
So when do you guys think we should move from ahem games to Ori..when we are getting matured....or when we are getting better salaries....?

I think it's a mixture of both, personally. These days I don't have as much time as I used to to game since work takes up a whole lot of my day. It doesn't make sense anymore to buy 5 ahem games and expect to play thru all of them. A slightly increased salary also helps - especially since ori games are around RM 150+ each. There are months when I don't buy any games simply because there's none worth buying or I'm waiting for a release date (like Mario Hoops).

Same here. I can never clear my back catalogs of PS2/XBOX and even PSX games. Seldom buy games now, a lot are just crap and not worth my time.

There's no "right time" to buy ori games. It just depends on your stand on the whole thing.
Of course, working and having money helps, but if your mentality is just getting "cheap games", then it doesn't make a difference, does it? I mean, I'm working and am struggling to manage my money, but I still don't mind spending the extra buck to buy ori games.
Sure, RM5 gets you one game, but for people who work, do you have time to play 10 games at one go? To me, the ori games situation suits me much more, since I don't have much time to dedicate to gaming, so buying 1-2 games per month makes more sense since that's about my capacity to game at the moment.

since im already working, i guess its time to move to ori. and the price is not bad, around RM150 a piece (X360 and prolly Wii, PS3 dunno ler, might be more). and you can always trade it with other people in this forum, so its not a total loss. what we can have is a rotation system, where u buy this game, i buy this game, we finished it and then we can trade. unless youre a collector lar. me more of a playa

when we buy ori, we will put more value in it. at least we try to complete he game no matter how hard it is. There's no right time to buy ori but, once you come to a point of awareness, you'll now. WIth ori you can always get at least half of your money. Mr. Jacksparrow, Captain Morgan or Captain Barbossa will not be able to sell their lot.
