Hi, I'm not sure whether this is the appropriate section to post in. I'm modifying my centre console panel to fit an iPad and I need fibreglass for it. Any ideas where can I get fibreglass here around KL/ Seremban area ? What type of glue should I use on this fibreglass. It's my first time doing this project and I'd like to collect all the info's needed before I start the project. Any help is appreciated 😊

Interesting because I plan to shove a Nexus 7 LTE inside my dash. Already bought a double DIN fascia for my dash.

Hi, I have already done DIY my fiberglass ipad panel. Since doing ipad panel only need small amount of fiberglass, u can actually get it from ace hardware. At the sametime, get some filler like 928 too. u will need it. you can pm me if u have any question about DIY-ing tablet panel in car. Will post up pics for u if u want. Good luck smile.gif

It depends what type of device u used to charge ur tablet I think. I think the weird sound is produced from the charging charger u used in ur car. Im using the usb port as digital sound source so I have no such problem. I will not recommend u guys to use the headphone port on ur tablet for audio source as dac built in in the tablet might not be good enough.

use of the USB/Lightning port certainly will reduce or solve the problem... the thing is u either need an external DAC or ur car have one by default...

yes, just get a head unit with android and apple capable will do. Or there are some DACs out there selling less than 200, with optical output some more.
