Just wandering what server are the most lowyat ppl playing? it feels like Asia server kind of less ppl btw, im playing Asia server

All players from Asia sure migrated to America once join lyn! Haha

99% of us play at American server. No need a poll for that.

why choose america server in the first place?I thought asia server ping should be better?

Because it's the default server selected for you if you're from the SEA region. Most people don't notice and just start playing straight away.

By the way, I have a few question to ask, I've basically been in the UK for the past 3 years so I can't test this but I'm coming back to Malaysia soon. How are the pings to the American servers? If I'm not mistaken, the Asian servers are located in South Korea right? I'm trying to decide what server to play on when I get back.

There's also the AUS/NZ server which may have better pings for SEA players but Blizzard will only connect you to that server automatically if your IP address is from Australia/New Zealand. It's not on the server list above the Play button so not many people know about the AUS/NZ servers.

The ping is around the range of 100-150ms most of the time. No rubber-banding as long as no one is downloading torrents in my house. I'm using Unifi 10mb package and sharing it with 4 other guys.

However, with the DDOS attack and recent slow unifi connection, the latency is unstable. There are lag spikes most of the time. I suggest going down 1 torment level to avoid dying due to lag.

Actually, yeah. When I play public rifts, most of them are either from korea or chinese judging by their names. haha.

oh, im using 10mbps unifi as well, need to give it a try to american server than. i wont strongly recommend hardcore player to play though if there is lag(u know what i mean lol)

Ahh thanks a lot, at least it's not more than 200ms I guess? If that's a good thing lol. I guess soon the days of 30ms ping to Europe will be gone... I'll try out all Americas, Asia and AUS servers to see which has the lowest ping for me when I get back.
