WELCOME TO SEASON 17

Welcome to BES vs URD season. The core differences is BES derived from the GT3 and the URD is from the GTE.
This season will determine which one is a better class in a one hour race duration.

The season was planned to be a 2 hours endurance season, where not only speed will be a factor of winning, but also consistency and strategy.
Also it is the only way to get the most of the ISI engine.

Unfortunately, 2 hours will be too long for a Sunday night race, where most will be working on Mondays so we have reduced it to one hour.

Race : 60 minutes (1 mandatory pitstop)

- Traction control enabled (Off, High and Low)
- Anti-Lock Braking System (Off, High and Low)

Qualifying
- 6 laps maximum in 15 minutes.
- You can either run all 6 laps in 1 outing (4 hotlaps) or do 2 outings, 3 laps each (2 hotlaps including 2 outlaps and 2 inlaps)
- Theres no Parc Ferme. You can run light and the use tires of ur choice. Basically u can run a different setup for Quali and load a different setup for Race.
- No chats during Quali session.

Race
- Standing start
- Refuelling and tire change during pitstops is permitted.
- No waiting for a race start. There is 1 week gap between race, please be prepared.
- 1 mandatory pitstop
- Virtual race time factor to be set from morning to late afternoon.
- No weather changes


POINTS SYSTEM

1st: 15 points

2nd: 13 points

3rd: 11 points

4th: 9 points

5th: 8 points

6th: 7 points

7th: 6 points

8th: 5 points

9th: 4 points

10th: 3 points

11th to 15th: 2 points

16th to 24th: 1 point

- A driver must at finished 70 percent race distance to score points.
- DNF and DQ drivers will not score any points. If a DNF drivers retire after covering 70 percent race distance will receive championship points.
- Extra 1 point will be awarded for race finishers.
- Only the best 10 rounds will counted into the final standings
- RM1 per race point continues as per last season

Adjustments to subclauses:

4. GENERAL LEAGUE INFORMATION

4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 - For Season 17, drivers are free to change cars at anytime before the race starts.

4.10 - For Season 17, The ABS and TC aids is enabled and drivers can find which one suits their driving style the best.

4.12 - For rFactor 2, full-name is not enforced in-game so you can use your nicknames. Strictly only Roman alphabets and numerics. No nickname change after Round 1 and as soon as the standings are up for database syncing.

5. RACE DAY

5.3 - 6 laps maximum in 15 minutes. You can either run all 6 laps in 1 outing (4 hotlaps) or do 2 outings, 3 laps each (2 hotlaps including 2 outlaps and 2 inlaps)

5.4 - There will be no formation lap.

5.8 - Texting is allowed during race. But there shouldnt be any cursing or argument during the race. Any disputes shud be reported to the race marshals after the race.
Racers are encouraged to use Teamspeak as a method of communication. Details on the TS3 server will be posted here soon.

5.9 - You are allowed to leave the game if once u have retired from the race. (duh)

5.10 - Race restart is not endorsed. The race will be amongst the most experienced simracers and all should know that turn 1 is not the finish line. However incident happens and towing is not an option in rF2, and it is a major one, administrator will decide for a restart. If there is no administrator around, participants can vote for it.

However, restarts will be strictly banned if the rejoin feature is enable in the future build. Rejoin feature will enable the heavily damaged car which is impossible to be dragged to the pits for repairs, to quit the race and rejoin with a fresh car, with time deficit.

PRIZES
- Season top 3 finishers will receive their Race For RM amount and (Godwilling, waiting for sponsors response) trophies and medals, and a certificate of participation
- The rest of the season finishers will receive their Race For RM amount and a certificate of participation.
- A get together at the end of the season for prize giving and BBQ


RACE FOR RM
- We reward RM1 per each race point scored. As per implemented in Season 16.
- With 24 max on the grid, we have maximum RM100 to give away per race to the whole grid.
- This is the least on how we value dedication and commitment to simracing.


BEST CUSTOM SKIN
- Show us what you can do.
- Tell a story about your skin. Your custom skin tells abt who you are and your racing style/principle. And promote it on the Livestream!
- The best skin will be voted at the end of the season by the community and prizes will be announced.

- Feedbacks and responds to any issues/details regarding the season.
