Well, I am counting natural creative midfielder, Stevie is lack effective now because he's playing the DM/sweeper role. Allen? I don't rate him as creative, same mould as Hendo, except he's willing to go upfront more. Markovic? Isn't him a winger?

Seriously, if we really count it properly, we really lack of creative midfielder, but pack at the middle. 
Agree, when he sell off Carroll, due to the reason he's not suitable to his system, then why buy Lambert, they are the same type of players, and Carroll is definitely better.

Well, Remy failed his medical, but pass at Chelsea, many fans doubted the medical though.

I too wonder why we didn't go for quality this season when BR have so so much funds, many fans said its due to the players not willing to come to Liverpool, and some other fans said its because Liverpool not willing to provide big pay check. But heck, he had spent 100 million, I can't really catch why Liverpool is not willing to use big pay check to lure top players.

Let's say we failed to quality to CL this season, does that mean next season we will not get any top players again? Damn, I hate this infinite cycle of Liverpool. 

Absolutely dreadful. Worrying times indeed. Team offered little in attack and again leaky at the back.

Gerrard was rubbish, offered little in attack and nothing in defence - i know he requires a bit of time to find his form but we're playing with 10 man with him in the team at the moment. He gets shutdown all too easily and lacks the craft to find himself space to get into the game.

I know i said we need to give the defence time to gel but i'm growing frustrated with the lack of improvement. If anything, it looks worse by the week. Leaking 2 goals in space of few minutes is unacceptable. WWhy did even play Skrtel to begin with ? The fact that we made a tactical change in the first 10 mins would suggest that we were not prepared for this match at all! We made West Ham looked like Chelsea at times. Sigh.

The midfield looked like it's stuck in limbo - again offered little in attack and absolutely nothing in defence. Hendo yesterday was back to his usual traits and i think partly was due to him trying to overcompensate for Gerrard's under performance. We need Can and Allen back asap, if only to have a break from this terrible midfield drop of performance.

I initially thought Borini would take his chance when it presented itself, but feck me - he was absolute rubbish. His touches were clumsy and seem to make the wrong decisions. He should have squared the ball to Moreno - i think that bit of play got him subbed.

The only real positives were Balotelli, Sterling and Lallana when he came on. They were the only ones who looked like that could do something. Balo worked his arse off and was aggressive and likewise Sterling. Lallana showed glimpses of what he can provide to the team. The guy can really turn and twist. Such a shame that the last 10 mins or so we decided not to play these players and resorted to mindless long balls. I know they decided to park the bus with 5-6 players in their box but we had that coming and should have at least prepared for it but we never did looked like we could come on top.

BR needs to sort this shiit out. And Sturridge can't come back soon enough. We are so over-reliant on him now.
