My predicted lineup would be: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Gerrard, Can, Hendo, Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge. Going for Johnson simply because I think BR has an affinity to pair him up with Sterling on one side of the flanks. Can and Moreno should be ready. Same goes for Markovic but I think he'll be on the bench tonight.

bro... Sterling will ended up cover Johnson's arse, time and time again we saw that on tv live....  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

He wants Sterling to work hard mah laugh.gif But maybe both of them have a good understanding of each other. That's why they usually start together on the same side. Unless BR brave enough to start Manquillo, Moreno and Can in a big match like this. Don't see it happening though.

Barca and Bayern in same group is impossible already lor tongue.gif

Get Bayern/Barca/Real, Dortmund/PSG/Juve, Roma/Monaco. Fuhh, ultimate group of death!

Other than those few it was a very weakened team, definitely not their regular 11. Don't la kutuk them until like that. Must recognize that it also was a weakened team.
*
Weakened team, yes. But there were 6 seniors in the starting lineup. It's just a little amusing they lost a match against a League One side 4-0. If they had lost it in ET or penalties, then nothing much to say la biggrin.gif tongue.gif

When is the CL draw? Is it tomorrow? Looks like there are no easy teams from Pot 1. Easiest would be the Portuguese teams but they're no pushovers anyway. Pot 2 only Basel seems favourable. The rest are either tough teams or too damn far away from England. laugh.gif

I would love the draw to be

Real Madrid
Juventus
Liverpool
AS Roma

I would not expect anything big, since this is the first CL for BR, and how many players in Liverpool actually played in CL before? Not much right? This is a great exposure to the manager and to the players as well.

If we got easy draw, but we still lose, then no face lar like that. Better get group of death, lose also nothing, but win will be a great surprise to the world!  laugh.gif
*
That group not possible bro. Unless you switch Juve with PSG or Dortmund. Would be interesting too.

Best part is he played for Steaua Bucharest's city rivals Dinamo for a long time before playing for Ludogrets. rclxms.gif

QPR just won their first game and got a clean sheet. They're high on confidence. Should be a fairly even match I think.

Sorry guys, in my opinion, we had the best business in the window.

I think Chelski had the best business. Selling Luiz and Lukaku for big money and got themselves Fab and Costa, plus they took back Courtois

Ya, Chelsea did really well in bringing in Costa and Feb. Paying off already with goals and attacking footie.

As for MU, they need to splash money to attract names. With no CL to play for, that's the only way to make big names come to them. Pressure will be enormous for them to break into top 4, otherwise.... van Gagal will surely get the chop.

As for us, we did well too. Sold 1 and basically got 9! While apart from Balo, we didn't bring in a 'marque' signings but things are looking good.
*
Yeah, too bad we didn't get to sign a very big name but as for now, I'm satisfied. So far, Lovren and Manquillo have been decently solid apart from a few miscommunication incidents. Hopefully they keep their level of performance up. Moreno was superb against Spurs and for the first 40 minutes against City too actually. Balo looks like he can link up well enough with Sturridge and Sterling. It's a shame that the international break is now or else they'd be spending some valuable time on the training ground. And I'm praying his attitude is more mellow nowadays tongue.gif More contributions from Can, Markovic, Lallana and Lambert too I hope. I think they'll be useful during the winter when fixtures get congested.

I'm sorry. But can anyone tell me, why we keep opening a new thread? Why don't we have 1 single thread for each club, instead of making a new thread each week?

Cheers.

Also, Borini is bound to something great.

Forum rules. New thread everytime it reaches 120 pages or 2.5k posts I think

The look on poor old Woy's face after Rooney scored says it all laugh.gif

Sorry England. Still not good enough for me. I wonder when they'll finally be good enough. Surely not when Woy's in charge.

Clueless face rubber. Hendo in England is NOT the Hendo we see in Red. Woy just put the names in to fill up positions. No tactics, no chemistry, no cohesion. Nothing.

He's still England's chief because he's English. If foreigners.... sudah lama media tembak.
*
Jangan persoal his 30 years of experience tongue.gif

He doesn't know how to get the best out of the players available to him. It's unfortunate because on paper England have enough of talented players to do well. Something like Spain 10 years ago. Maybe in another 4 years they might win a major tournament laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Players' reputation on papers were always hyped up by the English Media. Not a lot of them are truely world class except few of them like Lampard, G, Terry, Rio. Those youngters like Ox, Walcot, lallana, lambert, Luke Shaw or even Ramsey are not as good as the top class world players.

And Woy always clueless that he tot he still managing Liverpool by calling so many liverpool players into the world cup just want to fill up the 25 squad team members.
*
I think you meant Wilshere instead of Ramsey right? tongue.gif tongue.gif The only good thing for them is that all these players are still young like Ox, Walcott, Shaw, Wilshere, Sterling, Sturridge, Hendo, Barkley. They have potential to take England far in major tournaments. Too bad it's the wrong man in charge of the team.

Fuyoh....U21 game he looks like he can tapao everyone in midfield! If he can replicate 80% of that in a PL game it's very good already

I wonder what has happened to Coutinho lately. Since pre-season ended he hasn't shone as much as we know he can.
