Anyone know, a camcorder which got stereo or 5.1 mic input? but budget below 2K and if can get High Defination, SD or hardisk storage is better.
Beside can manual focus which can play aperture.
cause now all is built in mic, which alot of things cant play. zoom is doesnt matter at least 10 is ok.
what brand oso can.
*
im selling my HF10 for less than 2k
it has stereo mic built-in (or external mic) full hd, sdhc + 16gb hdd built-in. manual in tv, av mode.

take a look at here or check out my sig smile.gif

Why buy an AVCHD camcoder when you can shoot FHD using a DSLR?This is what i'm thinking to myself...why?

Except the huge HDD,how can a camcoder beat a DSLR?DSLRs have much more superior ISO performance, superior AF and MF,ability to change lenses, can do bokeh shots, very very good low light performance due to mega huge Full Frame sensor

DSLRs can also fit in super long telephoto lenses like 500mm which camcoders cannot even dream of such long zooms.

So why???Why should one opt for a camcoder instead of a DSLR capable of FHD video recording? The cheapest DSLR with FHD is 3K which is the EOS 550D

At RM2.4K theres the Sony X150 with 120GB HDD..pretty good value i suppose rclxms.gif

if u r talking about a pro cam vs dslr, this subject has been Discuss alot (u will find out if u google it). they have difference purpose, a pro cam attached with 35mm adapter can switchs lens just just any dslr do.

if u r talking about normal cam vs dslr. they have difference usage too. a normal ppl buy a cam just want point it and shoot and having 10x or 2ox zoom w/o buying another 1k zoom lens tongue.gif, no need to worry anything setting and blahblah iso shutter etc (also not all ppl also like the blurry look of bokeh whistling.gif)
they will never replace each other (unless whole world ppls also want go pro gears)

Canon 550 - Cannot zoom effectively without shaking like hell. Heavy. Serious 2-handed operation or with tripod - really no joke. Tested this in Sunway...

*
thats how IS come in handy.
i shoot using 200mm with IS its so stable.
ofc gotta pay more for lens.
if u dont need 35mm film look, normal camcorder has all the nice futures build in tongue.gif

Thank you for your advise, really appreciate it. Actually I want to ask my lil bro to buy for me in the states, I try to look for the prices here but
could not found yet, one of te forummers told me to find under legria. May I know should there b any diffrence in term of the spec if we buy here
or the states? and is there any incompatible issues?
*
using a ntsc cam will get u into trouble to playing em on pal region.
u need to convert into pal.

here is canon link for legria:
http://www.canon.com.my/c/EN/123-Digital-Camcorders/
better go ask some shop for street price (it will be lower).
